Nice post, agree 100%.Uumm WTF???
Some perplexing selections there
Sidebottom is the worst of the lot. He really deserves to stay in especially with Pendles out. I don't see why he needs the rest considering he has only played 4 or 5 games.
Wood I understand but disagree with. L Brown vs Sandilands LOL.
Clarke doesn't deserve to be dropped (or is it that wedding in Ireland??). His form hasn't been as bad as made out IMO. He's a **** load better option than Goldy who hasn't shown anything. Although I really hope he steps up to the occasion. It's been pretty sad watching him lately.
Dawes is interesting but I don't see the need.
Can't argue with the inclusions of N Brown and Beams.
This would make more sense:
INS Beams, Brown OUT Wood/L Brown, Pendles
Who says Dawes doesn't have a big engine? You obviously know very little about the man.

I am the conditioning coach at Collingwood; who are you?
Dawes has always looked to have a big engine to me , particularly as he plays most of his VFL games as a roaming Centre half forward.
If we are going to play a tall team against anybody, it may as well be Freo. They had good talls and shit mids.
Why do you use square parentheses?I think you will find that the trend is changing [if you bothered watching Freo play this season]. We actually beat Geelong in clearances and overall in the midfield [amongst other teams that includes Sydney as well] and kept Selwwod and Ablett very quiet.
Why do you use square parentheses?
Anyway, you say Fremantle 'beat Geelong in clearances'; that would stem from Sandiland's ruck work no doubt? It doesn't really matter if you beat them or not; Collingwood were overwhelmed in clearances yet we still beat Sydney. You see where I'm going with this?
surely the final team should look something like this:
B: Harry O’Brien, Simon Prestigiacomo, Shannon Cox
HB: Nick Maxwell, Nathan Brown, Heath Shaw
Foll: Josh Fraser, Dane Swan, Shane O’Bree
C: Tarkyn Lockyer, Alan Didak, Leon Davis
HF: Paul Medhurst, Travis Cloke, Dale Thomas
F: Brad Dick, John Anthony, Chris Dawes
Int: Cameron Wood, Sharrod Wellingham, Alan Toovey, Dayne Beams
Emg: Steele Sidebottom, Leigh Brown, Tyson Goldsack,
In: Nathan Brown, Dayne Beams, Chris Dawes, Paul Medhurst
Out: Scott Pendlebury (knee), Martin Clarke, Steele Sidebottom, Leigh Brown
I honestly think Leigh Brown is in our best 22 atm.
Is there a chance Dawes will play in the ruck?
I love Moneybags as much as the next bloke, but what on earth has he done to warrant selection?
Is it conceivable that Medders will come in for Dawes
anthonyIs it conceivable that Medders will come in for Dawes
I think you will find a last minute withdraw with John Anthony out in comes medhurst.
If this doesn't happen then my suspicions on Medhurst being injured last week at that vfl game where it was said that he tweaked his ankle again, means he'll be out for at least three more weeks.
Obviously the pies are hoping he'll be ok that's why he keeps being named as an emergency.
Really? Then you'll be able to confidently say where the door next to your office leads, yes?
dawes should play if we wanna get anywhere with him we have to give him ago. freo is nothing great so i think its time we should play dawes for the rest of the season get some afl into him see how he goes. jack will be fine he will play medhurst dosent deserve a spot in the team anyways till he shows his back in form in the vfl if brad dick has another game like last week i think he will be out medhurst will be in and leighhhhh brown should go out in a late change for wood where gunner get smashed in the ruck otherwise
