It will probably even sell well outside of Australia due to the amount of people that love trophies/achievements.
Yeah, I know, but usually games that are meant for one region and one region only end up being region locked. An example of this is the series of NCAA games (College Basketball, Gridiron) that are released by EA Sports, they are meant for the U.S only and are sold there only, so they region lock those games.360 games can be region-free also.
I have a few questions for BigAntStudios.
Will we be able to change the camera in the game? Is the default camera similar to FIFA 10?
Are the graphics comparable to FIFA 10 and NBA 2K10?
Does each team have a rating/score similar to FIFA 10?
Will there be the addition of other leagues in the game? Such as the VFL etc...
Will there be the ability through DLC to update team lists?

Yep, definitely, there would be some footy supporters willing to import it, but if I was one of them I'd have a PS3 anyway. But if they wanted the sell it to other regions they could just make it region free,
Yeah that's true. They should make them affect gameplay in this game like for example, Give JBrown the specialty "Contested Mark" then he could take a pack mark better then those who dont have the specialty. Those so-called specialties in AFL 07 meant nothing. They were simply given to players who had high enough stats in a certain area. They didn't affect the gameplay.
The graphics for this game will most likely be on par with the new Rugby League game coming out. That'd be acceptable if the gameplay is good.
I mean I don't get why publishers won't make all games region free. But really what is the incentive for this game? Most likely it would only really be wanted in PAL regions and as I said in an earlier post would be lucky to make more than 1000 sales to overseas buyers. But if they wanted the sell it to other regions they could just make it region free,
BigAnt, what will be the primary camera angle for the game? ie. Will the camera be behind the player, or looking on as if it were broadcast on TV?

There's just not a whole lot of reason for them to do it, however easy or hard it may be to make a game region free.
So while there is a "broadcast like" camera, the default will be further back. I personally play it with the same view as if you were in the Southern stand, second level, front row. Playing it any closer doesn't allow you to see what's on offer far enough down the field.
