I have a few questions for BigAntStudios.

Will we be able to change the camera in the game? Is the default camera similar to FIFA 10?
Are the graphics comparable to FIFA 10 and NBA 2K10?
Does each team have a rating/score similar to FIFA 10?
Will there be the addition of other leagues in the game? Such as the VFL etc...
Will there be the ability through DLC to update team lists?

I'm really excited for the release of this game. The only sports games I really play are FIFA and NBA. It will be good to have a next gen footy game. We shouls all get behind this game and buy it. I mean I'm sure the funding for development is a lot less than a lot of titles made overseas. If the game sells well I'm sure there would probably be future installments with improvements made. I think it will be a success. It will probably even sell well outside of Australia due to the amount of people that love trophies/achievements.

No, it won't. The game would not even be released outside of Australia, the only way people would be able to get it internationally is if they buy it on PS3, as there is no region locking, even then the numbers probably wouldn't be very high at all.

360 games can be region-free also.
Yeah, I know, but usually games that are meant for one region and one region only end up being region locked. An example of this is the series of NCAA games (College Basketball, Gridiron) that are released by EA Sports, they are meant for the U.S only and are sold there only, so they region lock those games.

That's ambitious, would be surprised if they were half as good tbh.

But if they wanted the sell it to other regions they could just make it region free,

BigAnt, what will be the primary camera angle for the game? ie. Will the camera be behind the player, or looking on as if it were broadcast on TV?

Read all 51 pages just then. Some suggestions from me
-Players could wear gloves :p
-You can make a loose man in defense
-Have your players in a zone or some sort instead of having 6 forwards inside your forward fifty when it's at the other end of the ground
-Some players could have specialty's like in AFL '07 IE. Spearhead, Workhorse, Ball magnet I don't know.

Thanks for all the screens. Look great

Those so-called specialties in AFL 07 meant nothing. They were simply given to players who had high enough stats in a certain area. They didn't affect the gameplay.

The graphics for this game will most likely be on par with the new Rugby League game coming out. That'd be acceptable if the gameplay is good.

Yeah that's true. They should make them affect gameplay in this game like for example, Give JBrown the specialty "Contested Mark" then he could take a pack mark better then those who dont have the specialty.

I just want this game to come out. I'm itching to get my hands on a copy

I mean I don't get why publishers won't make all games region free. But really what is the incentive for this game? Most likely it would only really be wanted in PAL regions and as I said in an earlier post would be lucky to make more than 1000 sales to overseas buyers.

There's just not a whole lot of reason for them to do it, however easy or hard it may be to make a game region free.

Getting the camera right is actually the hardest part of making the game.

I struggle watching on TV, the coverage is too "cameo" and tight for my liking, so much is happening off the ball you lose at least 50% of the action in my opinion.

So while there is a "broadcast like" camera, the default will be further back. I personally play it with the same view as if you were in the Southern stand, second level, front row. Playing it any closer doesn't allow you to see what's on offer far enough down the field.

In any case, you will have many camera options. I know it will be a very personal thing as to which one you like most.

It's generally about licensing and price protection. A good example is in India where game sell very cheaply as the market cannot bear a high price, Indian copies imported would kill some games. (I know someone who imported an Indian copy of Command and Conquer for $20 landed.)

The advantage we have on 360 and PS3 is that we can package the game for download in other regions where a retail/disk version doesn't make sense. I am in talks with the publishers about this.

Just a few questions here.

Will there be anything on VFL or any form of Reserves, say if you drop a player and want to see how he performs in the reserves the week after?

Will there be any information on Under 18's coming up to draft time in the game?

Are you able to snap from tight angles? As we see alot of footy players do them these days i think that it should be implemented in the game.

Also cheers for all the info you have revealed so far:thumbsu:

As this is a licensed game, only licensed product will be in the game, ie, all jumpers/logos shall be those that are currently under license.

YES... You made my day with this.. That was one of the main thing missing from AFL games in the past. the views that didn't give you any idea where people were and you had to look for litlte things on HUDs to work out where your teammates were.

I'm guessing you haven't answered the whether there's a career mode or not for a reason. so i won't ask that question again.

With the 4v4 mode you spoke about before. will it be like games of the past where you will control any player and you will be switching between players (like if you were playing single player, just obviously sharing players with others) or will you be with one player (like FIFAs be a pro)

Yeah that's true. They should make them affect gameplay in this game like for example, Give JBrown the specialty "Contested Mark" then he could take a pack mark better then those who dont have the specialty.

Wouldn't that just be a result of a better contested mark stat?

Do GC and GWS feature in this game in any way?

Also, you mentioned licensed products, how will you portray Heritage Round? Using a guernsey from 2009/2010 or finding out (asking the club/AFL) which to use?

Do you have any idea when we'll get some sold info (screenshots, videos, feature list etc)?
