I'm a big unit fan since the rookie days he stuck it up the Blues @ Princes Park ... shame is the Eagles & the Q STICK cant understand how best to use this talent.

it wouldnt suprise me if Ben Mckinley's name was thrown up in trade week.
i think carlton or essendon have been sniffing around previously It'd be interesting to see what wce would recieve. He had a great start in the AFL and was a dead eye dick, but the last couple of years he has tailed off a bit.

what lynch is any better?

Probably, but not by much. Only reason is he is versatile and can play backup ruck if Cox or NicNat were to get injured.

Why would we trade more crap into our side? Another midfield plodder...

I think Dalziell will serve a lesson to us this year that we need to trade for player types we need, not whatever we can get in return.

Even though I am not sold on trading for Leroy Jetta, the fact is he has speed and can run and carry, which is something we need, so he offers something to our team if he is good enough to make our 22.

Brisbane is your best bet.

If Voss stays on next year then it is a sign that the Brisbane CEO and Chairman think Voss' list decimation job is only half done, and he needs a little more time.

Lynch and pick 4, for pick 6.

Seriously, I think Richmond's only use for him would be as a backup player to cover for injuries or the kids needing a break. As such, I wouldn't trade for him and the the best I'd do for him would be to pick him up with a LATE pick, and even then, I'd be tempted for an 18 y.o long shot.

I've been out of the country for a few years, so I mostly watch the odd Saturday game on ESPN, finals and Essendon games.

What happened to Lynch?

When I left he looked like a very promising FF, who would be able to throw his bulk around, took a mark and was pretty accurate (I think). It looked like he'd be a lesser version of Hall or a better version of Heatley (the St Kilda 97 player), sort of in the Cummings mold.

Seaby offered little more than 5 minute back up ruck (& not much else) & we chose to go with Lynch as a back up ruck. He played further up the ground and found a niche in the midfield almost, with 5 minute stints in the ruck. Has lost weight to improve speed and due to forced changes, not settled in anywhere, lost confidence & is now a whipping boy.
A team needs to return him to what he was. A full forward.

Our first rounder + jetta for Lynch
Fair trade
Eagles want another smal forward and we get a KF in return to take some pressure off Gumby and co.

First rounder? LOL Eagles would jump at that. Jetta for Lynch straight swap could even probably get it done.

i would fly over to perth and pack lynch's bags if that were the deal..

matty lloyd the champ = michael voss

Right, we'll trade our first round player and a youngster who WCE want that kind of for a player who the WCE supporters think is no good and plays a position we've got plenty of youngsters to try in.

A big fail. :thumbsd:
