Haha and is it any surprise people in this country laugh at the sport! I still think those who reward the dives are worse than those who dive themselves. Players only dive because they get rewarded for it.

Saw very little difference between tis Liverpool and the one that has been playing all season to be honest. Maybe they tried a little harder - but that always happens when a new manager comes in.

Can you imagine the reaction on here if that had been Roy subbing Torres off towards the end. The hypocrisy they display is laughable

It was a bad penalty decision, but that was it.

Didn't think Webb did much else wrong on the day, and his linesman should have helped him out on the penner.

Am talking as somehow who has refereed various sports and was taught don't make the call unless you're sure it was there, better to miss something than to award something that wasn't there. Also talking as someone who knows refs watch games and must know players like Nani, Berbatov and to be fair Gerrard dive.. Nani perhaps more than anyone to have played the game but still reward these guys?

Recovered after a penalty that wasn't there in the 2nd minute.

Played 60 minutes with 10 men.

Most players were spent towards the end(which is a good thing as they gave it there all)

We are proud of our team.

I thought it was a much improved Liverpool on the day, but the test won't be in the cup against a big rival, it'll be the bread and butter matches against those sides around them.

Promising signs for the scousers though.

Have you refereed football (at a decent level)?

When players are good at diving, it looks extremely convincing (haven't seen the penalty, so I'm talking in general not about this specific event).

When has Berbatov ever dived anyway? He's certainly not what I'd refer to as a diver.
