If you want to hear the sometimes insightful, always stupid & occassionaly amusing football observations of 4 posters on Nick Maxwell's site, including The Sheriff and yours truly - known collectively as 'The Recovery Session' - listen to this audio podcast which has been launched today.

If you have some humorous rule change suggestions, strategies for watching / listening to footy at work and social occassions or any other ideas, we'd love to hear from you and will mention you in the podcast if you leave a name. Just be sure to do so by 5p.m. Tuesday as we are recording again then.

What i liked
- Opening score
- Quality of the audio - v. professional
- Breadth of topics covered - not just pies

Scope for improvement
- Maybe consider shortening it slightly.

I had another listen, this time without skipping bits like before - sorry being at work and had to do it stealthily..

The second part of the show is bloody funny, the claim to fame segment had me in tears..

Not enough love being shown for this, very good first effort. :thumbsu:

Me only concern would be that the 4 voices aren't easily differentiated, so perhaps one of you could get a Gilbert Gottfried type thing going.

I want one to pretend to be an Irish lass, another an angry Latvian, me to speak normally and the other one to use a horn to convey his thoughts.
 
Just listened to the whole show.

Holy crap you guys, that was great...really easy to listen to.
Really good intro song, good quality recording, just very preofessional, esp when talking about footy stuff you sounded just like a regular footy discussion panel.

Just excellent. I'd join mdc in saying I didn't always know who was who at this stage and to more frequently drop the names eg across to you Sherriff/ Boot for your thoughts re this or that would be good.

Very impressed :)

Just listened to the first 5 minutes or so. Game starts is a second so will get back to it after that.

Loved what I heard. Is it an every week thing? Hope so, I can add it to my must do football things each week. B&W Show, Dave86 Preview, In B&W, etc.

I gotta say I think everyone does a fantastic job getting weekly stuff together for everyone. Big Thumbs Up :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Yeah, every week mate.

This week we're gonna interview Father Bob too so should be a cracker. Will try and interview someone every week.

Just had a listen, good show! How do you record it though? Seems a bit echo-y and one or two of you seem to have the mic too close to your mouth. But the content was solid and it was easy to listen to! Agree with whoever said it could be a little shorter.

Father Bob is pretty entertaining, hope you have a good recording this week!
