if memory serves me correct

cowboys are 1-7 in the last 8 games romo has started
If memory serves me correct

Today he started with an oline which had 3 starters on it that combined for a total of 1 game previously and lost his 1/2/3 DBs, and last year was no better on the oline/injury front.

I'm all for sinking the boot in, but his team has hardly served him well in those last 8 games, even if does do stupid things often enough for it to be a problem.

Considering McGee struggles to get it even within 5 yards of his WRs...

Either way, I liked the way Felix ran today as well. Obviously struggled stats wise with the young oline and fcing the Jets in New York, but ran with conviction and got positive yards when a decent % of RBs would have lost 2-3. I was loling when Choice and Murray were getting carries.

Oh dear. No professional sporting team does self-destruction better than our Dallas Cowboys. It'd be amusing if it wasn't so serious. Romo might get us into positions to win games but he continually stuffs up under pressure and it kills us. He might be honest and upfront about it and his teammates might support him publicly but how much longer can the organisation and fans in general tolerate these mistakes?

And as much as Romo chokes... today he pulled one out in an admirable way... I'm willing to see how he goes for a bit longer before hanging him out to dry.

And Peyton Manning's rookie season wasn't stellar in which threw a league high 28 interceptions as the team struggled to a 3–13 record, with a defense that surrendered more than 27 points per game. The Colts lost many close games, including five games in which they had led by double-digits at some point!!

Tony Romo's game against the Niners was more than impressive. Inspirational. Led from the front, come back on after hurting (fractured ribs reportedly) and turned a 10 point deficit into a gutsy OT win on the road.

Every QB that's ever played has blown games on his own errors..noboby can deny that. Get a grip ROSEMVP.. there's more to just 'a select bunch' of plays that can't be SOLELY BLAMED on Romo/ any QB for costing game/s. American football is much more the TEAM game than you care to believe.

Tony...Tony...Tony.

What a nightmare.

i'll raise you Big Ben's week 1 game against the Ravens if you want to get some perspective. But we (Steeler fans) know/ believe that everyone can have a stinker once in a while.. (think: Super Bowl XLV!!) and you talk of Nightmare's? .. tell me last time Romo lost a bunch of fumbles and had 3 INT in the same game? :p

Yep, broken ribs aside, that was just the game Tony needed today.

Way to get straight back on that horse #9. :thumbsu::heart:

Oh... and that guy in my avatar...:heart::heart:

That's what I'm talking about!

An ugly win, but a gutsy win. I'll take a win over the Skins anyway we can, even if it's all field goals.

Brave performance by Romo considering his condition. Hopefully people give him a break now.

Some serious WTF at Phil Costa though... that was deplorable. God I miss Gurode.

What an ugly game that was. Credit to Romo. He had to work real hard to get us into position just to get those FG's.

Dez and Ogletree disappointed me. I thought Dez would of had a chance to have a big game being the No1 receiver. Didn't happen. Probably still hampered by the quad injury. Ogletree should just know better by now. Third year receiver, made him our No. 3 and he still doesn't even know where to line up.

Apparently Hatcher had thought the Skins Romo's cadence and the Skins were calling it out confusing Costa. Apparently Illegal in the NFL but they got away with it tonight. Our backup C has been more than useful, wouldn't surprise if he came back in.

The refs were awful as well. How did they miss that tackle on Ware? I'm pretty sure we would have declined it, but still! Ware gets man handled every week but that was pathetic.

A lot we need to clean up. Don't think Miles is back next week either. Dez needs to heal and the receivers have to figure out what they are doing if we are to beat the Lions.

Much credit to Rob Ryan though. Our defense is holding up, especially against the run. Our first real game against a quality QB next week though. Will be interesting to watch. Guess I'll be up at 3:30 next Monday. Glad it is a public holiday! :p

Edit: Much love for Dan Bailey. Has hit his last eight after shanking his first. Hopefully we can put that one down to nerves. Looks like we may have a reliable kicker again. Consider me gob smacked!

It's hilarious after week 1 being labeled a choker, coming out in the next two weeks with 4th quarter game winning drives.

Oh, It is our 9th game in a row decided by 3pts or less. How is everyones heart holding up? :p

Shows the boys are made of tougher stuff these days. Not the razzle dazzle stuff that turns to liquid under pressure. Has anybody been by this thread screaming for McGee and Kitna to take over the last couple of weeks? Have Romo been getting the credit he deserves? The NFL media over there certainly have a new found respect for #9.

Romo last 2 games have something that will hold us in good stead for the season.Unbelievable what he put up with and Costa OMG.But we still got the win and all the Romo haters have gone quiet. This week is another massive game aswell.

Tony has been good the last 2 weeks but i still have doubts. Hopefully the Pats release Chad Johnson(Ochonio) soon we need another good wr.

I note that Roy Williams and Marion Barber have been inactive due to injury at the Chicago Bears, and that when Williams was on the field, it was reported that he has no chemistry with Jay Cutler. Seems that the Cowboys made some sound decisions there.

Haven't watched the game but based on repots, that is a pretty epic capitulation.

Just when you think we're erasing the mental scars they come flooding back.

It's literally at the point where I'd rather be trailing going into the fourth. We seem to be able to claw back a deficit more often than we can protect a lead.

Trade The piece of shit to denver and get Tebow and a pick back.

I tried trading you to Denver but none of their supporters were going for it.

And seriously... Tebow? Are you for real.

Garrett has to take some blame as well for this loss.

Up 24-3...... RUN THE ****IN BALL and protect the lead and eat clock. But NO he is calling hail Mary plays across the field on 1st down that go for 2 pick 6's and a 14pt turn around.:mad:

Clown arse Garrett is and he was no good as an OC under fat face Wade and he will be no good as a HC either.

**** this loss stings.

As much as i despise Romo TBow is not the answer.

Tebow can start the rest of season and we can get Drew Brees in Free agency.

You're living in a fantasy land.

I thought McGee was your great white hope. Now you have him as a third string behind Brees and Tebow.

lol No just No.

Brees will never leave New Orleans and may/will be franchised.

Edit...

TBD beat me to it!!!

Christ, are we to endure this every time we lose a game? Thank god I don't support the same AFL team as you, don't think I could bear another 22 weeks of overreaction.

On topic, come from behind wins and utter chokes from in front. What a bizarre season so far.

Watched the game from start to finish.. Is it bad that I expected a capitulation as it was happening.. Such a horrible second half we were making plays rushing and don't need these bullshit high risk high reward calls! Dez was looking unstoppable in the first half.. And Calvin Johnson just wow the megatron's first TD was amazing he is an absolute beast.. I would just be throwing him high balls all day!
