Alright, done in the midst of the draft combine so an early edit is likely
Anyway first 44 picks are below:

#1 GWS
John Patton
Why: Its pretty obvious

#2 GWS
Stephen Congilio
Why: Again pretty obvious

#3 GWS
Dom Tyson
Why: I personally think he is a more certain pick than Wingard for a new team that needs quality players

#4 GWS
Chad Wingard
Why: Provides x-factor and could be a game winner for them down the track

#5 GWS
Billy Longer
Why: GWS need a ruckman to complement a promising young midfield and Longer is by far the best available

#6 PA
Will Hoskin-Elliot
Why: A strong combine has boosted his standing even further

#7 GWS
Elliot Kavanagh
Why: A highly skilled mid who would round out their midfield and possibly given an attitude adjustment by sheedy

#8 BL
Matthew Buntine
Why: A skilled half-back. not really a position of need but I can't see Brisbane passing on who is clearly the best player available

#9 GWS
Michael Talia
Why: KPP are important to any team and if the GWS brass really want to be competing for the premiership in 2015 they need to start developing them now

#10 GWS
Liam Sumner
Why: Another mid for their collection

#11 GWS
Adam Tomlinson
Why: A versatile big that they can develop

#12 GWS
Toby Greene
Why: A big show in the champs has boosted his stock

#13 GWS
Hayden Crozier
Why: GS proved that the biggest problem for a new team will be at either end but Crozier should contribute a few goals for them and provide a target when Patton is no doubt manned up by all 6 defenders

#14 GWS
Jackson Paine
Why: Joining his TAC partner in crime Patton and would draw a defender away from him even if that still leaves five on Patton

#15 Rich
Taylor Adams
Why: A mid that is in the right mold for the Hardwick style, gives his all and will be a good piece for their midfield

#16 Freo
Todd Elton
Why: A KPF that isn't called Kepler Bradley would be nice, would allow the young mids to kick to more than just space

#17 WB
Sam Frost
Why: A KPD to sure up the future of their stocks in that department with Lake troubled this year

#18 NM
Nic Haynes
Why: Could play forward for North and provide some goals for them

#19 Ess
Mitchell Grigg
Why: Is a mid, while they would prefer an outside mid there gonna have to take what they can get

#20 Freo
Brandon Ellis
Why: Best player available which they will swoop on. bit of a slider in my opinion

#21 Syd
Tom Mitchell
Why: Seriously? your asking that, the safest bet in the draft

#22 Carlton
Julian Dobosz
Why: three letters... KPF, could be a great pick for a team on the cusp of really competing with the top teams

#23 WC
Devon Smith
Why: Undersized player who I have to say I rate lower than others, at 175cm for me his chances of playing at a high AFL standard reduce but is a quality TAC player

#24 GC
Sam Docherty
Why: simply best player available, will give the suns some rebound out of defence

#25 St. Kilda
Shane Nelson
Why: A mid with great disposal who I personally feel would compete straight away on a HFF

#26 Rich
Daniel Markworth
Why: A floating HF who can run in the midfield when Martin goes up forward to work his magic

#27 Adelaide
Alex Forster
Why: A versatile player to be a role player and fill almost any gap that appears

#28 West Coast
Brad Mckenzie
Why: a quality outside mid which are always in demand

#29 Freo
Jordan Lockyer
Why: With freo's KPP stocks thinning slightly I wouldn't be surprised if Lockyer went here

#30 Bris
Myles Bolger
Why: In need of a ruck with only one on the list

#31 Ess
Sebastian Ross
Why: Has something to offer across HF

#32 Geelong
Andrew Boseley
Why: Were seen putting a lot of time into watching him in particular at the combine should be a safe bet if still on the board

#33 Hawks
Josh Waldhuter
Why: More best player available

#34 Geelong
Sam Kerridge
Why: A good mid that they could make into a good player as they always do

#35 St. Kilda
Tom Downie
Why: could be developed behind McEvoy and make a good rucking duo

#36 Melb
Josh Tynan
Why: Good outside mid who might not contribute for a while because of his skinny frame

#37 St. Kilda
Clay Smith
Why: Can play and has a good character which I dare say would be a job requirement at Morrabin nowadays

#38 Hawks
Brody Mihocek
Why: Could develop into a decent KPD

#39 WB
Jordan Kelly
Why: Adds some depth to the dogs KPD stocks, bit undersized but competes hard

#40 NM
Thomas Sheridan
Why: A very versatile medium sized player with a high level of endurance and will provide what is needed for a team

#41 Adelaide
Brett O'Hanlon
Why: A really strong mark who would provide a target even as a medium forward and can kick multiple goals

#42 Saints
Michael Bussey
Why: A future KPP could be good for a time when Reiwoldt, Kozi and Fisher are kicking back with a few frothies

#43 Syd
Marley Williams
Why: tough player with a long kick and can find the goals

#44 Carlton
Dylan Buckley
Why: F/S

Adams is an Interesting one I have not seen much of him. Our Midfield should be ok. with Rockliff Polec Redden Rich and the likes or Barlett Polkinghorne Bewick Harwood and Raines(Tagger) But I would assume we would go a player with speed and a good kick(not sure if Adams has those because I have not seen him)

If the draft went like that for the first 7 picks i can't see you guys passing hoskin-elliot.

Dangerfield could've gone full time, not sure where you're getting that from. The only reason why he wasn't was because he had several niggling injuries, and also with the absenteeism of Tippett and Walker at patches throughout the season, he was basically playing forward.

Games the like the one against Richmond are things that he can produce when we have a proper forward line structure, so he can play midfield the majority of the game.

As for our pick, we will go WHE any day of the week in front of Greene.

Exactly what we need with pick 8. Would rather we pass on Elton and get KPP with our other picks.

Polec Rich Hoskin-Elliot with Redden Rockliff and Leunberger could be a seriously good midfield.

thanks for the advice on hoskin-elliot i hadnt been able to see much of him

Looks good except for first pick for the Saints. Dont know why they would take him that early in preference to others.

#33 PA
Brody Milocek
Why: Is a talent which is the only requirement to go to Port. Will get games as a third tall

He's not that good and I can't see why he'd be such a sure thing to get games ahead of Chaplin, Carlile and Trengove with Moore a developing third tall/medium defender type.

I thought he retired?

he's kelvin moore's younger brother who plays as a flanker and is a future midfielder. don't know where KPD is coming from

Sin City, i have always thought that chaplin would be better served forward but even if he plays back there is room for mihocek as he can play big or small with his pace

From all reports his endurance is nowhere near where is should be, three years in the system and it should be getting up there. He is a flanker and will give bursts in the midfield. I rate him as a player and those bursts are great quality

I must be confused with someone else, didn't a young kid from Port retire this year due to injury problems?

EDIT: My bad got confused with Meyer. :o

I don't think the Bulldogs will take McKenzie with their first pick, he's a good player but the Bulldogs already have a player like him in Christian Howard.

Nobody is leaving or wanting to leave port.. I think you are confused with the crows mate!
