Good luck to him, I think he's going to need it with the Saints list.
Watters was in line to be midfield coach for 2012, I'm sure Buckley and Walsh would be well down the path in sounding out a new midfield coach.
I doubt it, he was in line for the job that we gave Eade.Deal Laidley?

dunno what they expect with that list. Might get top 8 if really lucky this year but will bottom out before the go up again. i hope they give the bloke a good chance
Which I somehow doubt.

Good decision from the Saints, they got the best man available.
Not a massive blow to us, he was our defensive coach last year, and I'm sure we have a few names lined up to replace him.
Would Ben Hart take over the backline straight away?![]()
So the only assistant coach we've kept from 2011 is Lappin? Not so great. I thought a priority was supposed to be keeping the support staff around Buckley the same, we're starting from scratch with practically an entirely new coaching staff, doesn't bode too well for a club looking for stability in a premiership window.

Same here. Realistically I think they could need 3-4+ years to rebuild with the lack of young players coming through and the amount of older players on their list that they rely on. It seems Lyon put all his eggs into one basket, it's no surprise he jumped ship this year.i hope they give the bloke a good chance
