How did you come up the name "The Great One"

When Ross Lyon declared Dale Thomas one of the best players in the league I believe the boys around the club started calling him The Great One to tease him. I like it, it reminds me of Wayne Gretzky.

Did not know that but Yeah same nickname of Wayne Gretzky

He had a great year, I'd say his best, it's just a pity he got suspended a couple of times. He certainly backed up his break out year in 2010 to put an end to the doubters. The only people who don't rate him now are people who can't get past the fact he plays for Collingwood.

He did have a great season but 2nd half was not as good as his first half,if he had not been suspended and had kept up his great level of form he would be top 7 in the league there is no doubt of that in my mind.

Ps is he 24 now still a long way to go and he can get better he certainly has done so for the last 2 years.

If only he held onto that grab, it would've been better than Walker & Krak put together. I note that newspapers often print the photo (while neglecting to mention that he actually dropped it! )
