That quote box needs a little work. I don't like the italics for a start - never have.

Majority of it is that, but I don't think it's fair to make me a feel a bit silly for asking the question...when you probably well know what I'm referring to?

A lot of the pictures on here are quite demeaning to women....and also not the best stuff to have displayed on the computer when your a stay at home mum and your kids are around?

Yes but that addon is discontinued so I'm wary of it. I am sure we can find fixes for all of these things over time.

Using italics for quotes is a pretty universal standard though Chief. Can't go bucking trends.

I think my current avatar might be the type SainterK is talking about. Surely not reportable though. I also agree on the teddy...creepy.

IIRC that add-on is just to remove the mini-avatars that display next to the thread title (eg on the forum screen).

It is technically possible to create a new style that doesn't display the avatars. Would be a lot of effort, but may be something that Chief could look at down the track. Or there's every chance Xenforo could add support for the feature. Posting code is now a bloody nightmare, i can't get it to work at all. Pasting from excel results in columns being replaced by spaces - can no longer get data lined up.

Also keen to get 40+ posts per page back. Is that going to happen?

Wow, just wanted to say the ignore feature is awesome.

No more of the "user is on your ignore list - view post", it now completely blocks them as if they don't exist. Love it.

How do you know its working?

Few too many ales one would think. We were offline, what 1.5 days?

To be honest, and acknowledging the fact it's a different system that works differently and will look differently, I'm quite happy with the change now. It's snappy and features are a bit more modern.

Big effort to bring such a large forum across and obviously to deal with the fallout too.

I think the point of maybe doing it in the off season is more than pertinent however.
