i'm sorry to say the probability is he will miss and we will lose the game by a margin comparable to the impact macca would have had if he was playing, therefore inducing us to miss the finals. We are feeemantle dude. Already we are due for gut wrenching kick in the balls just as we start to get going. Hopefully Lyon can break the curse.

Yeah looked like he hit the shoulder. Fine.
Really only Sandilands now that we're missing from what appears to be our best 22, Mora excluded of course. Sure there are guys like Mellington/Neale/Clarke on the fringe but they are mostly interchangeable, we have a very nice balance atm.
Considering that no changes unless forced. Impossible to drop anyone after that game though.

Pity we haven't given Faulks a bit of a run this year, I'd like to see how he stacks up against, say, Duffield. We're running out of time to play a bit with it.
... You know, I was thinking today about Ratten's remarks about tanking, and if it really is a case of "experimenting" then I think at this point Freo is a very good argument that Ratten is completely and utterly full of it.

There is absolutely no way McPharlin will be suspended. No head contact. No case to answer.
If Pav is suspended (not likely from what I saw) our chances against Adelaide will take a massive hit. We have absolutely no-one to replace him with. Jack Anthony is useless but might be the one who gets a shot.
If Deboer goes, hopefully Lower is fit. Otherwise Sutcliffe maybe.

DeBoer - won't miss may get points/fine - Pav - no chance - Judd gave him stitches from a swinging up and still won the brownlow
I would only go with forced changes through injuries - everyone seemed to do their job - can someone give Balla a pair of decent boots - he goes to ground way to much...
If Pavlich is out and McPharlin is not, maybe bring in a defender like Faulks (although I believe he didn't play WAFL yesterday due to injury) and play McPharlin forward.
I am heading to the game as well. Although I dont need to drive as far from you. Hopefully it is a good game.

From memory, doesnt matter if it is shoulder or head, they will look at it. The impact will be low because he got up and kicked a goal, so would sit on a reprimand. Problem being for Elvis is he has 12 points carry over.

I am actually pretty relaxed about losing Macca for a week and even DeBoer.
Macca would benefit from a rest for a week, and we could bring in SCOS, Anthony or Faulks to play his position.
DeBoer would be covered by Lower or we could use Sutcliffe or Neale as midfielders / high forwards.
The big out would be Pav. But in years gone past, we have actually won more games than we have lost when Pav has been out so all is not lost. At least he would be rested up and ready to tear apart Richmond.

DeBour - Lower or to a lesser extent (Neale, Mellington, Sutcliffe).
McPharlin - Faulks or Silvagni
Pav - Clarke
I'm not sure if Neale is 100% with his ancle. Mellington kicked 4 goals last week but couldn't play this week and doesn't have the same experience as Lower even thou he has played well as the sub. Lower would love to get a gig on his old home ground.
Faulks has been in great WAFL form and would be my first pick for McP.
Clarke can help ruck and hopefully take some grabs up forward.
