Have you listened at all in History?
Germany just didn't become un-bad.
Well, 1. We haven't had anything to do with the Germans in my history lessons and 2. It's all Australian history. Woop de doo, 200 years! So much history!!!

I thought it was pretty much common knowledge, at least know what happened, very disrespectful to the ANZACS.

By the time you get to year 11, History actually covers more than Captian Cook, so don't worry. And I reccommend you do the class, it's a great one.

But yeah, I have to agree with you, its very interesting, but when yuo have learnt the same thing for the 10th time , with a little change, it can be boring.

Sadly, it's just not common knowledge these days :(

It's too "old" to be "relevant"

And I'm not some history freak, or dinosour, I'm 17, and I think it helps that I just find it very interesting.
But I find anything pre-2000 the best.
Music, fashion, ect.
I'd be the exeption, not the rule.

Andonis, you're like 12. Don't act like you know everything.

And just because this country is young, does not mean it's history is pointless or without interest. I'm not some nationalistic arseh*le, but don't be close minded.

This could possisbly be the shittest clip ever but have a look at the jumpers. Its a promo for 1992 but brissy wearing the bb & a sponsor on the jumper aswell. Its a little bit confusing as i was lead to belive they didnt have a sponsor in 91 wearing this style jumper. If im wrong it would have been fosters.

Its got me thinking why did they change jumpers at such a late date? This footage would be from 92 im guessing

The jumper shown in this video was worn by Brisbane Bears in the preseason comp in 1992.
When the season proper started, they changed to the Gold & White vee version, which also had CUB as sponsors, though they were White with a Blue CUB.
Michael Roberts is wearing a StKilda jumper from 1981, with the outlined numbers and no sponsor, so I'd say it was his own.
bernie Quinlan looks to be wearing a 1983-84 Fitzroy jumper with Darlington Investment Services sponsor logo, so that's probably his own as well.

Back when Michael Roberts was at Channel 7, before they traded him to Channel 9 for Jim Wilson.

And what's with Watson's fake running?

He'd just retired, that's probably all he could muster at the time.
(Actually, at the time this was made he was officially on West Coast's list)

Mero ever thought about adding matchup pages round by round like the gridiron uniform database does for the NFL?
http://www.gridironuniforms.com/weekly/2011/2011wk16.html

Would love to know how many different jumper combinations the Eagles and Dockers have had in Derbys....I reckon they would have to have had the most in the AFL as Both teams have changed their jumpers so often.

Probably way too much research for something that's going to be undervalued.

And the most interesting jumper combination in derby history is this:

Unfortunately, the Ochre isn't the best/ugliest thing in those videos – Michael Gardiner's soft jumper punches are.

Hey mero

Did you decide on putting your watermarks on the site?
Haven't done it yet.
I don't know if that means I have decided not to, or not decided.

Fremantle have been wearing an away jumper in the away derby for years. We won our first derby in the Gradienachor. I'd probably say Fremantle have always won the away strip. The Eagles wore the Ochre and, to this day, wear a clash strip. When we were at the game, Smeagle said that WCE wear the clash for marketing reasons – which I agree with. In practicality, purple does not clash with the royal away.
