Oh yeah, haha, my bad forgot about walkerWhere's Walker????
With Lynch at Carlton, it should be like this imo:
Walker Waite Armfield
Betts Casboult/Hammer Garlett

Judd and Kerr are best mates and Kerr and Lynch went to school together and are very close so I imagine Juddy wouldn't be against the big Q joining. This may or may not be the correct place to ask this but were Judd and Lynch close when Judd was at the Eagles? As far as I know they are the same age. Could they be a factor in convincing Lynch to make the move?

So:There will be 3 talls next year with Cas/Hammer (Rather Cas) as the resting ruck. Simular to Collingwoods setup under Mick.
Basically, yes.So:
Cloke - Waite
Dawes - Lynch (if lynch comes to carlton)
Brown- Cas/hammer
4 Players vying for the one spot is just a little rich for mine.
Not excited in any way for Lynch, but may be proved wrong.

mmmm, no.Just wondering whether Lynch has played in defense at any stage of his career? Being a 'gorilla' himself, would he be able to play in defense on those with similar bodies, if required, that is.
Ok, I asked that because others are suggesting that he would be an upgrade on Thornton.mmmm, no.
Sin doesn't have enough swagger about himNo jig?

Cannot see the point in recruiting Lynch. He can't play back. We don't need another ruckman. For tall forwards we have Waite (mr. 14 games maybe), Cas-25-Rowe competing for the second tall spot and a rotation of Warnock, Kreuzer and Hampson. Lynch is a long, but lousy kick for goal, not a great mark and has non-existent ground skills. I would prefer we worked with what we have. If we must trade (and I do not see a real need) I would go for another tall defender (since ours break down regularly) and/or another small defender (since joey, tuohy, scotland have not been able to shut down consistently the dangerous small forwards).
I also dance a jig to the tune of Bell.
You beat me to it, only want Lynch as depth.Where's Walker????

Two years for each of themJust saw it somewhere else:
Bell, Casboult and McLean signings to be announced at the B&F (Thanks LP from CSC)
with the option of a third and a 15% pay rise if we win a grand final in the second year
I thought about the same thing myself.............many times over.
Can't believe they thought they could get away with it on-field. Crazy.
What I can't understand is, if we're so keen to get him, why are west coast so reluctant to sign him?
- Has formed friendships with a playing group for a decade
- 33 goals from 21 games out of a possible 24
- Kennedy is injury prone
- F McInness, the one he's supposed to be vacating a spot for, is a 19yo who hasn't played a game.

A couple more years and we should do...Would be funny if we got Suban after we traded Warnock for the pick he was eventually taken with. Ibbotson is definitely on my wishlist. Silvagni is not so much on the radar despite how nice it would be to have a Silvagni back at the club.
Expecting Eddie's next big piece that will shock the footy world to be on how the Pies cheated the salary cap.
