Don't expect Crouch to be getting a heap of game time through the midfield either. Our midfield is chockers with quality inside mids, I suspect Crouch will be spending his fair share of time between the forward/back pocket and sub. He's certainly not assured of a best 22 spot at this stage either, plenty of other guys with similar or better years in the SANFL pushing for spots as well.

Cheers James. What about Luke Brown? Guess if he plays as a small defender he wont score huge points. Think he should get a regular gig but

As for Mitchell he's going to be a gun player but I'm not sure where he fits in the Swans midfield yet. Maybe if Bolton retires he'll squeeze into the 22. You've still got Parker ahead of but imo and cant forget the returning Rohan

Depends if he can crack into the mids/hffs. If there is injury in the mids he would be gunning for a spot pending pre-season

Nick O'Brien (probable mid/fwd) will be one I'll definitely get.
He's a fantastic runner so he'll do midfield time in 2013 and i think he'll just slot into monfries' spot in our 22.
Averaged around 50 in his first 2 games and kicked more than a goal a game.

Even better if they revert to the 3 reserves per line rule.

you think? he only played 2 games, IIRC a similar thing happened with browne in 2011 and he maintained draftee price the next year.

No, Browne averaged 16.5 last year, which is why he stayed rookie priced. I think NOB will do alright next year, but probably not worth it for DT.

Byes are different this year I believe. Best 18 players = your score for each of the bye rounds, irrespective of tthe player's position. So we don't have to worry about limiting byes within positional lines.
