He is so frustrating, he is capable of doing some really amazing things on he field. Is lightning quick, courageous, evasive, a long kick, hard at it, yet just cant seem to put it all together and play consistent footy.

I honestly thought he would establish himself as a 22 player last season, I dont know why he hasnt been able to be developed after so many years in the system. Its not like he doesnt give everything and has no talent

The Morris stuff is obviously an in joke the rest of us have missed. He's a quality player.

As Michael Scott says "I love inside jokes. I'd love to be a part of one someday" :D

His best position? Playing on Chris Yarran.

I like the guy, hope he can earn a few games in 2013. Great clubman/servant.

This may shock some fans but I don't expect Matt to get picked every week next season. But when he does he will be the super-sub. He can be an impact player over a short period of the game.:thumbsu: He is also really good at getting on and off the ground quickly, which is important for a sub.

Are you taking the piss because if you are that is a brilliant post. He is really good at getting on and off the ground. I wonder if any of our new draft picks were judged on such abilitys. Maybe they should introduce the Matt White on and off the ground test at the next combine. I think your onto something.

It's simple maths Miss Trombone. If there are 120 interchanges in a game and we can improve the efficiency of each interchange by 10%, that amounts to ... err ... umm ... It amounts to more players on the ground for longer.

Surely we have other players that have tested under 3 seconds for 20 m sprints capable of reaching Whites elite status as a run on the ground run off the player. How bout he teaches them the superior skill of getting off the ground and on the ground and they teach him to get a kick or lay a tackle. It will be a win for all involved Miss Laffy2Chaffy2Daffy 2 Whitey (hang on Whitey is too busy sprinting on and off the ground to get the ball off Daffy)

Do people really think White is still as quick these days? I think it's been quite obvious since 2011 that he's lost at least a yard.

I reckon these "Morris knockers" are taking the p!ss.

As for White, I'd have him as emergency, bolting off the bench midway through the final quarter.

I lol'd.

In all seriousness I still think he could be an effective tagger. Has the pace and endurance to go with just about anyone, and even if he doesn't win the footy if he negates the oppositions best player he's done his job. Would prefer him to Jackson in that role anyway.

He's not good enough. He has zero impact when he plays so he isn't even good depth.

The guy gets like 10 touches a game and half of them don't hit a target.

Why on earth is there another thread on him?

Hmmm, Whitey as the interchange coach. I like your thinking Miss Trombone. :thumbsu: Except no-one runs from the ground with the same intensity as Whitey, not sure you can teach that to a kid.

p.s. As the Tiger's greatest ever goalsneak, Daffy would never have cost the Tigers a goal by passing the ball to someone else. ;)
