Considering we're the only species on Earth who really has the ability to be or understand concepts such as 'corrupt' or 'hypocritical', I'd say you're right purely by default.

Not really sure what point he was trying to make.

You're having your steak overdone. Or the wrong cuts. Or both...

Come to Walshy93's steak palace and you won't be saying that again.
99% the likely cause.

I agree that if the sauce is making the steak, you aren't having good steak.

I believe that the Naplan test that kids have to do is absolutely pointless and should be abolished with all standardized testing everywhere.

I've never received spectacular marks in anything (English aside) and am hardly a genius, but I did some of those tests earlier on in HS and was absolutely astounded by how basic all the questions were, especially compared to the stuff I'd already covered during classes. They offered absolutely no kind of challenge whatsoever. If kids are seriously struggling with those tests then I really worry about their generations future.

They need to be replaced with exams that actually test the knowledge of students on relevant stuff and provide them with some kind of challenge. Occasional testing on a particular topic in each subject is necessary, but standardised testing is just rubbish.

While we're on the subject of school, an unpopular opinion I have is that homework should be abolished during Primary School (except for some reading) and much less given to students throughout the earlier years of HS.

I think we should pay more tax.

I would like to get rid of months and divide the year into quadrants of 91 or 92 days ie. Equinox to solstice to equinox to solstice.
I would also like to get rid of the 24 hour day with 60 minutes and seconds and express the time of day as millidays (mD) which takes slightly longer than a minute to click over but when used with 2 decimal places is slightly quicker than seconds and about the same period as your standing heart beat. Midnight becomes 000.00mD and midday 500.00mD

I don't think that opinion is unpopular depending who you ask. :p

I always thought homework was generally useless and unless it was a marked assignment I never did it. My school claimed 3 hrs a night was normal in Year 12...ha. I couldn't have done that if I tried.

Why stop there? Why not display the time of day as milliseconds? nanoseconds? You know it makes sense

seconds would become obsolete.

for example when looking at a time to rendezvous with someone we tend to express it to the nearest 1/4 of an hour. "meet you at gate 3 at 7:15". ninety-six 1/4 of an hours occurs in a day. so the new way to express it would more likely to the nearest 10mD where 100 would occur in a day so instead of 7:15 we would say "810" (it's actually 804.82 if you were to express it more precisely)

when using relative time you wouldn't have to express it in mD but microdays if you wanted to go that low and when looking at Computer clock speed periods it could even go to picodays. But your average absolute time is now expressed in hours and minutes which would require no extra decimal points when used in mD or with added seconds which could be expressed as easily to two decimal points.

“I pay the tax I am required to pay, not a penny more, not a penny less. If anybody in this country doesn’t minimize their tax, they want their heads read because, as a Government, I can tell you they’re not spending it that well that we should be donating extra.” - Kerry Packer

Wise words.

Yeah because people won't have a problem understanding that in the slightest.

Aka an unpopular opinion.
Difference between unpopular and just plain ****ing stupid.

Also Gina Rinehart's motto, I believe. Aside from the one about wanting everyone else to work for $2/day
