Yes, on today's showing he's got a way to go, but he's improved since last season in both standard and consistency (as people on here have kept telling him he has to do); and if he keeps going he may well get a chance when we need another big inside mid, even if temporarily.

Guthrie was a bit patchy today, but I really like the look of him. He's got a bit of class that we don't always see at AFL level due to him playing more as a back pocket. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a run in the ones to get some more AFL games into him.

Guthire perhaps showing he is too good for the level. Hunt too much experience and to much size.
Thurlow shows some class but he has plenty of time. Brown looked more at home in the forwardline.

Going to be a good game next week. Frankston are coming off consecutive wins against Port Melbourne and Collingwood, and their full forward kicked a lazy 8 goals yesterday. Former Cat Scott Simpson plays for them too.

I think we can batten down the hatches now for another classic age argument here on total footy regarding Josh's possible return to the first 22.
I expect to see a thread in the next week or two,and I'd be surprised if there is consensus.
