I like the kid, and don't think there's a lot in it, but by the letter of the law he'll be looking at points and a possible reprimand for his hit on Hoopy.

He left the ground, tucked the elbow in and caught McGlynn high with his upper arm.

Hopefully the hit won't get rated with enough points to gain him a week off.

Luckily he has a clean sheet to start with.

Yeah, was a shame it mighta been a little high. If he cops a week or so, then so be it. In the long run, we know, and anyone who plays on him knows just what he's capable of and it should sit at the back of their mind. If he had of kept his feet on the ground it would've been in the highlights reel, so maybe it's just a question of technique that he can work on.

To be truthful, I thought Lewi was looking to scalp someone last night. He fair dinkum had someone in his sights a couple of times. He barely scraped Jack before Ossie snotted him, and I think that whet his appetite some.

Some good signs to see all this fire in their bellies.

Really like the physical stuff that Duryea is bringing to his game this year. If he gets rubbed he gets rubbed. I just hope he persists with taking out a body when it is on offer.

Also, kudos to McGlynn for over exaggerating contact, so many players these days do it so it was good to see him not act like a little bitch

McGlynn receives the ball and snaps the ball towards goal as Duryea comes towards him in an attempt to smother the kick. Duryea has his arms out in a bid to smother when he makes contact with McGlynn and it was the view of the panel he had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball.

glad he got off, I actually think he is very close to going past Geurra for that back pocket spot. Combination of his own good form, Geurra's poor form/injuries and discipline at times. Plus the fact that goo is getting on. Dont get me wrong he's been one of my fave players over a long time but he looks to be struggling lately. Grant a few fumbles from dureya too. good problem to have i guess!

Just proves the match review panel have no idea what they are talking about. He was always going the bump, not that he should have been suspended but he was always going the bump and it was blatantly obvious
