CRowie from FiveDoubleCrow says it is the worst piece of sports journalism he has seen. His mate thought there were some good points. A number of respondents had a go at Rowe.

The SANFL boss Olsen rang in re the AFL sides having reserve sides in the SANFL. Went on about the integrity of the competition will not be compromised.

McDermut challenged him for some time that the comp was already compromised and gave some reasons.

Rowe and Olsen seemed speechless at times.

Having listened in for 10 minute intervals for a couple of weeks and only heard Crows Crows Crows this was an enjoyable 1/2 hour change.

Tredders on Triple M this morning said he was not surprised at CRowies response and then proceeded to describe him as a Crows Cheerleader.

Twice I've heard Rowe bag Tredders, once for the article last year when he dared to question Sanderson's ability as a coach and to make tough decisions, and now in response to this article. Funny that a lot of supporters on the crows board are now asking the same questions of 'Sando' and the vast majority think Tredder's latest article nailed it.

thats not what he was saying, the way i heard was that there will be 17 rounds, each team playing each other once, followed teams in equal positions on the ladder seperated into groups of 6, each playng each other once, i didnt thnk it was a final series, more of a way of getting equal teams playing each other more, rather than the top four playing the bottom 4 for percentage

After each team has played each other once there will be a bye, then, final 6 rounds with Top 6, Middle 6 and Bottom 6 playing each other to determine the make up of the final ladder positions.

If they split into three groups, with the top 6 staying the top 6 and so on it would be much, much less ******ed than otherwise. If 7th can finish higher than 6th, its very very dumb.

I'm not sure if I like it, but it isn't the worst system you could come up with.

Overall I'd like two groups of 9, each producing a top 5. The two top 5s then go into a double-elimination type finals system or something.

I also think reducing the length of quarters significantly so more games can be played would be a step in the right direction. I'd be interested in a best of 3 grand final but that might just be me.

Top 6 is set, playing for top a 4 spot. Middle six vying for final 2 spots in 8. Bottom 6 playing for respect with a lottery system for first 6 draft picks

Jack Darling's forward pressure is outstanding. It is amazing to watch how much is created from defensive pressure.

Been thinking of who is the most important player for the Hawks and have to say Jarryd Roughead. The guys is a very good footballer and a much better player than Franklin. Roughie just goes about his business with no fanfare and consistently performs at a high standard.

Just no.

Roughead is usually a very good player, but like most he has trouble finding consistency. He was simply awful in last years finals series and in particular in the grand final. Franklin is in a poor patch of form at the moment, but despite that he finds a way to kick 4 or 5 each week somehow.

I think Roughead has more natural football nous than Franklin, but Franklin is the better player. Not by much, but his physical attributes make him a better player than Roughead.

In regards to the AFL fixture, how do we feel about conference league. (Neither for or against it, and haven't really thought too much of if it. NBA playoffs got me thinking)

I had a big long past that I scrapped. I like the idea of conferences. Could have either 3 or 2 conferences, each side plays in conference twice, and outside once for a 25 or 22 game season.

Just went on the crows forum to read their opinions on the reserved debate, they are imploding on the trigg thread lol. Good to see most of them wanting justice and for the club to move forward.

He returned from a ruptured Achilles last year to play 23 games.. it's understandable that he was tiring towards the end. I agree completely with Macca19's comparison of the two.

Franklin is a bit of a team/momentum killer with his brain fades and poor goal kicking accuracy. If you monopolise the forward entries, you need to work on your kicking accuracy.

Anyone else think Adam Goodes has been ordinary, almost passenger/chipscab like in the last few weeks? His efforts were ordinary against Adelaide, and he wasn't better today. Not showing the endeavour of a champion of the game

I agree but I am completely biased.

I just ****ing hate the bloke and everything about him. I feel bad for him and what he has gone through lately but **** I hate him.

I hate that some umpires seem to love the "superstars" like Goodes and everytime they go near the ball they get a free
