Houston open the season against the mighty Bobcats. Nice of the NBA to ease Dwight into things

The difference between the Clippers and Lakers is interesting.

Poor Minny, they are so isolated from the rest of the Western conference

Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Shabazz Muhammad has been sent home from the NBA's Rookie Transition Program "for violating of a rule and bringing a female guest into his hotel room," USA TODAY Sports's Jeff Zillgitt reported Wednesday, citing an anonymous source familiar with the situation:
Muhammad, who also will be fined, was in Florham Park, N.J. for the four-day program which helps rookies transition into the league through a series of seminars, instructions and guest speakers. [...]
Just hours before Muhammad was sent home, players were given the rules for the program, which included no guests unless approved by program administrators.
Muhammad, the No. 14 pick in the draft, will have to return next summer and complete the program with the 2014 draft class and others who have not yet attended.

As long as he's been made clear and accepted that he's the back-up and Lilliard is the starter what's the issue? For ~$3mil a year I think it's decent value.
Agree. At least we have another ball handler (not sure cj was up to playing lots of minutes at the 1).

Two years $5.6 million, player option for the second year. The vast majority of our current contracts all expire jn two years time.

Seems like we are going to try and make the playoffs for two years and reassess.

This move should help reduce Lillards minutes and stop us from seeing a lot of will Barton!

Williams, McCollum, wright, Robinson and Leonard is an upgrade on our bench from last year

Good pick up for Portland. Although I'm not sure how much a back court of McCollum and Mo Williams works off the bench . If McCollum is playing well they've now got 4 guards who all deserve 25+ minutes, might have some trouble there

I fear he is going to be an epic bust. His attitude is an issue from the get go and this is a sign that he doesn't follow rules to well and is already letting the lifestyle get the better of him.
