I should make this list being an RFFL Hall of Famer.

No? Yeah, that was just wishful thinking.
Lol that's like me arguing I should be in the AFL Hall of Fame because I won the U/10's coaches award.

Number 45

WAG

80 games – 136 goals – 694 kicks – 1 x EKA Medal – 1 x TFLUA-Tiger Medal

The Dragons spearhead was a heavy-hitter on the scoreboard in his time at full forward, but hasn’t slowed down at all in the past season. Kicking his career off with a bang by taking out the EKA Medal, and following it up later with a TFLUA award, WAG has gone on to put together an 80-game regime to challenge almost anyone. His ability to consistently remain in the very good Qootyers column over the past four seasons or so means he consolidates number forty-five on this list. The question remains, will he climb or fall in seasons to come? WAG scored 194.025 ranking points.

Number 44

Freakie

114 games – 127 goals – 1697 disposals – 1 x TFLUA-Tiger Medal

Kick-starting his career at the Demons before a publicised move to his spiritual home the Roys, the perpetually classy Qootyer Freakie’s move to full forward has perhaps propelled him to this position at number 44. A fantastic season two seasons ago which saw him take out the TFLUA-Tiger medal but score 0 Mobbs Medal votes also beefed up his stats, cementing his place as a top 50 Qootyer of modern times. He’s been around for a while now, and having dabbled with retirement, it will be intriguing to see if Freakie plays snakes or ladders with his position on this list. Freakie scored 195.956 ranking points.

Number 43

Eagleoz83

80 games – 1367 disposals – 296 tackles – More than 2:1 for:against free ratio

The Fighting Fury who has fallen painfully short in previous Mobbs Medal counts earns some respite here with a spot in the Qootyers Top 50. An astounding first 80 games combined with a dream run from the umps gives this ex-Gumby his esteemed position, one he will no dobut treasure. Almost four tackles per game suggests his ferocity has not slowed, can he stay up among the rising stars who will make this list in coming seasons? Eagleoz83 scored 199.725 points.

Number 42

tigland

77 games – 618 hitouts – 1343 disposals – Furies captain
The recently crowned leader of Fighting makes it two Furies in a row on the list, with his outstanding ruckwork and disposal count gifting him a place at number forty-two on this list of lists. The humble but effective Qootyer has had an impressive career to date and one that can only build from here on in. I believe continued strong form from the yellow and black champ could see him break into the Top 40 in not much time at all. tigland scored 203.662 ranking points.

Number 41

Mooch

70 games – 1061 disposals – 235 marks – multiple premiership winner

A modern Roy who predominantly built his sparkling record at the West Coast as wmoore, Mooch could not be happier with his career to date. A couple of flags to go with an outstanding personal regime means Mooch is the least experienced Qootyer in the Top 45. The consummately witty specialist should be reaching the peaks of his powers and can expect to further his position in the top 50 Qootyers list in seasons to come. Mooch scored 205.014 ranking points.

Number 40

StFly

97 games – 408 hitouts – 1420 disposals – Gumby premiership captain

The craftsman of words off the field is apparently a craftsman of silky skills on it. The recently succeeded Gumby leader has proven he can talk the talk and certainly can walk the walk. Less than 100 games for almost 1500 disposals is unheard on Sweet FA Island whilst the hitouts helped Streets out too. His stats have dropped since unfortunately having to deal with RL issues but we all hope StFly will one day be back to full Qootying strength; look to see him bounce up the rankings when that day comes. StFly scored 205.814 ranking points.

Number 39

okeydoke7

113 games - 281 goals - 1 x AlfAndrews Medal – several retirements – 2 hitouts – Royals co-captain

Modern media mogul Okey is certainly not a one-trick pony. The Qooty extraordinaire has had a career filled with ups and downs, but the stats don’t lie; a league goalkicking award to go with his impressive goalkicking record already (plus 158 marks) means the purple and gold co-captain confirms his stardom with a spot in the Top 40. Whether at Gold City or elsewhere, the veteran still has plenty to contribute, and by the close of his career Okey could be a top 20 specialist. okeydoke7 scored 212.367 ranking points.

Number 38

krisholio14

187 games – 2325 disposals – 635 marks

The under-the-radar Gumby secures his place in the list by sheer consistency and weight of numbers. More active than he may appear, Kris has solidly built a career in the blue and white that is rivalled by few others. Once a captain of the club, his glory days are certainly long past; nonetheless, a strong position in the top 50 Qootyers belongs to krisholio14. krisholio14 scored 212.546 ranking points.

Number 37

HawkPatrol

160 games – 1650 disposals – 233 goals – 332 tackles

Firstly, a stirring endorsement:
I'm terrible at qooty, only had 2 good seasons back in s9/s10
Another player whose quality from seasons past grants him a place in the top 50, HawkPatrol Snappy! HawkPatrol’s travels through the various Sweet FA clubs have netted him a regime that gives opponents nightmares. Despite never being a true Qooty star, his remarkable consistency means he cannot be ignored as a marvel of the simulated game. It will be intriguing to see if HawkPatrol drops or rises on this list in seasons to come, but 37 seems about his position. HawkPatrol scored 218.963 ranking points.

Number 36

Cheetah

157 games – 2329 disposals – 531 marks – 266 tackles

The long-term Roy is an essential part of the ‘Rillas side, and this spot in the SFA’s top 50 Qootyers only confirms it. The underrated star will be nearing the 200-game milestone in a couple of seasons time, and will no doubt be long past the 2500 disposal milestone. A battler who has thrived in some tough positions ladder-wise, Cheetah has scrapped and fought for his spot more than maybe any other. Can his career continue to grow? Could he find himself as a Top 25 Qootyer in the future? Only time will tell. Cheetah scored 221.481 ranking points.

Several retirements got me. Does that count towards his score somehow? If so I should have retired 5 times to get a gig.

Great thread so far.

I am interested in seeing the stats after its all done.

We'll make our own list, called the Top 300 Qootyers, we are a lock for that list!

Well, maybe 350...400?
Maybe we (by we I mean someone other than me ;)) could create a list of the top 50 young gun qootyers, can't have played any more than 50 games. Although this would need to be done soon or i wouldn't be eligible for that list either :(

Happy to be top 40, interested to see how goals compare to disposals etc with the rankings.
I think you should get 100,000 bonus points if you've won all of the Alf Andrews, TFLUA-Tiger and Frankston Rover awards as well as being a captain of Mount Buller and East Side in the past. ;)
