Good point about it being a public holiday. Though it's more families that go away, Golden Plains is still on and this weekend's nice enough to head to the beach for a few days. That could explain why it was so empty – some Fridays are chockers, usually there's young punks everywhere making you feeling self-consciously sober when I walk from Etihad to home or the pub after the footy.

I never understand the propensity of people to not dance at Boiler Room events. Some of the music is just so divine, how could you not dance? Shameful.

On topic, I hadn't been to Revs before last Friday. Absolute belter of a night, I'll be there again this week too probably. Best place to stay until the sun comes up.

Went to a Serb night at La Di Da last night. Place has changed heaps since I was last there, very nice inside.

Went out both Saturday and Sunday and have to say festivals drain the life out of clubs. Was empty last night at Whip even with an amazing lineup, being the last person dancing in the mainroom to Jungle Jim/Stan Gravs at 3.30 was weird. Made my first appearance at Zubar aswell last night place was pumping at 4.30.

So glad this is something that doesn't even need to be considered in Adelaide. As long as you're in line, and you're dressed normally (most places are pretty relaxed about dress code) and not too drunk, you'll eventually get in anywhere in Adelaide.

Carlton club feels to small inside.
Lagerfield gets some scum bags in there.

Rats isn't just indies, plenty of people use it for a pre's before going to Tramp or Survivor. Rats is pretty loose.

Do people still do this? I cannot remember anything about Tramp except for sitting and staring at the ceiling once, but what's the better out of Tramp and Survivor? In fact, I've heard Survivor has finished up completely?
