Mad Men is good, I don't know if I'm getting tired of it but the last few seasons have been a bit of an effort to watch. Try Sherlock, that's awesome!

My list: The Simpsons, The Wire, GOT, Trigun (an Anime) and at the moment Elementary which is IMO the best adaption of Sherlock Holmes as a character ever - the first season is a little bland in terms of the episodes, but the season finale and second season really raised the bar.

My favourite tv show for decades now has been the pommie show The Professionals. Followed by the pommie shows Blackadder and Fawlty Towers(or Forty Twats...if you prefer). Then Yank shows, Stargates, Star Treks, various yank comedies, such as Sienfeld etc. the odd animation like Simpsons and Futurama. But Game Of Thrones is so good it may top the list now

I don't know if there are any NBA fans on here, but this is the reason why I have been a huge Oden fan for years and have still kept up hope that he could make a solid NBA career, even though his body obviously hates the idea.

Season 4-5 have been some fantastic episodes, can't stop watching.

Very very well written show, set in 60s New York, follows the somewhat mysterious Don Draper and his business associates at his advertising firm. Pretty hard to describe but it's fantastic. Going by your listed shows you would probably like it, regardless of setting the writing is outstanding, only The Wire beats it from what i've watched.
