In all honesty , out of respect for Chris last year I would of tapped him on the shoulder and given him Andrew Macqualters job.

Then I would of quietly explained to him that if we are being honest and he deserves honesty , we have just free'd up enough money to land Nick Dalsanto .

That's how I would of treated a legend like Chris . But I'll make this clear I've always respected Chris Newman the person but I've never ever thought his football abilities where more than an honest toiler and great team man.

I think he'll be ok . He hasn't done much this year which was always going to be the case. Lucky he was playing for the Australian Cricket Team.

I would to but with Rance got he's not needed now . We need to find out whether or not Banfield is a one or two year option. If they put Maric on the LTI at the start of the season Darrou should of been first bloke promoted. They can give him a run after round 11 though.

Banfield can play , let's see if he has improved after a ore season with the same awesome development team that has turned Shaun Hampson into a complete footballers.

His injury has been assessed as 4-6 by real doctors, 15-19 by an unqualified person on the Internet who has never met the patient, let alone seen the injury or any scans related to it

Noone outside the club knows how Andrew McQualter is going, nor if Chris wants to coach.

An "honest toiler and great team man" is often enough (refer Nick Maxwell and his Premiership cup)...
