if the players accept a deal with a suspension to be served, this means they admit that however inadvertently, they took banned substances. After all the postulating that no banned substances were taken, I would be incredibly pissed off, and wouldn't care how happy the players were.

And what will happen directly after that is that Dank and Hird will be charged with trafficking. It is my understanding that they will both be banned for life and the consequences might include custodial sentences.

So it is difficult to understand how, but i understand that is the play. Please look back at my posting history if you think that I make claims. However, I understand this is why Hird is going against the players and fighting this. It seems bizarre given that most of this is available via internet but in any case, ASADA have handed a brief to AFP for prosecution. This is a fact.

Can't see Hird can be charged with trafficking - he never sold or distributed any products (legal or illegal products). Dank is a different story.

It is my understanding that this is exactly what is being pursued. I think that the laws around trafficking are somewhat malleable and that this is where ASADA are going

It is my understanding that is what he will be charged with.....I dont think this is wrong from a factual perspective. It may be morally and ethically wrong but I understand that he will be given a SC notice that will allege he trafficked illegal substances. The standard of proof in this case, is, apparently much higher than the standard of proof for taking substances but if the players accept they were given illegal substances then ASADA will move against Dank and Hird for trafficking.
