Speaking from the lofty heights of Mt Middle Aged that I live on, IF this were true Id like to smack him around the head and tell him he's 23!! 23 son, dont make life changing decisions for a girl arrrggghhhhhh
**** women

No offense no decisions should be based on them, far far from worth it and he may end up regretting it if it's true.

Geelong, Collingwood & Brisbane need to get something done.

Is Daniel Rich on their untouchable list? I know he did his ACL but would be a pretty handy replacement for Bundy

Sorry to intrude haha, but yeah he would be on the untouchable list mate. If we aren't willing to trade Rich for Beams I highly doubt we would offer him up for Bundy.

What is everyones thoughts on this? Lions will hopefully get pick 21 or 24 for Patfull from GWS, we could then send pick 21/24 & Crisp/Merrett to the cats for Bundy. With Tom Lonergan looking likely to to head to the doggies would you consider Sauce in a trade?

Your boss said Sauce is still needed up there

Would rather play Hamling or Brown instead of having Sauce regardless of performance.

I'm just pleased to wake up and see no more individual player trade threads.... Although the big black capital letters of "BREAKING NEWS" included in the general list management thread still gets me on edge. Something that big makes me think 'Not Selwood!'
Just a bit jumpy :D

He is a star already and only 23. He would work into your midfield. Geelong have said first rounder or ready made like for like replacement. That is his worth. If it isn't met by a club, then I think they let him go to the draft - a fate he will not be so keen on, I imagine.

Your CEO stated clearly yesterday that Merrett isn't going anywhere and picks in the 20's ain't going to do it

nah' good leader and all but behind Gaff, Priddis, Masten when it comes to your midfield stakes. Shuey another one closing the gap so Geelong would expect Scott plus a first rounder for Christensen given his qualities as a forward/midfielder/upside in comparison to Scott Selwood.
We'd probably have to throw in a second rounder as well.

Scooter is actually on the short list to be our next captain. He is one of like 4 players.

jeez, not sure why everyone's jumping on S.Selwood; I know he's the skippers lil' bro but I just don't rate him all that highly; just an average AFL mid.

One area where Scooter would really help us out is with defensive pressure - his career ave is 5.5 tackles per game, this year he ave 5.0 and only 4 Cats ave more than that - Selwood, Burbury (gone), Johnson & Guthrie. If he returns to his 2013 form where he ave 25.6 disposals, 4.6 marks & 7.9 tackles per game it would be a great help through our midfield.

West Coast will keep an eye on developments with disgruntled Geelong midfielder Allen Christensen, with the club keen on pursuing the 2011 premiership player if he is open to a move to Perth.

Christensen, 23, produced the first genuine shock of the trade period yesterday when he expressed a desire to leave the Cats.

Eagles football manager Craig Vozzo contacted Geelong after the club confirmed that Christensen wanted to play elsewhere for "non-football reasons".

He said West Coast were interested in the 65-game midfielder on a day where Eagles chief executive Trevor Nisbett separately confirmed that other clubs were "ahead" of them in the race for nominated target and fellow Cat Travis Varcoe....
... Vozzo said he had held preliminary discussions with Geelong about the possibility of trading for Christensen.

"We've also contacted his (Christensen's) management and had some discussions with them as well," Vozzo said.

"We're trying to work out that very question (on whether he might come to Perth).

"They're going to come back to us with some information regarding it and then we take the next step as appropriate from there. I think it's been quite sudden for Geelong.

"He's probably slightly different in that he's had some terrific midfield performances, so he's a genuine mid as opposed to playing as a high half-forward."

West Coast have openly discussed the need to add pace and experience to their midfield.
So we either reunite the Kolodjashnij brothers or the Selwood brothers by the end of the trade period.

Them feels yo[emoji5]️

hmm, those are handy numbers no doubt.

Even if he didn't it would give Guthrie a better chance of doing so, who is arguably a better user anyway.
