I'm inclined to agree with you but he will have to try something. If he doesn't India will probably win (unless the pitch falls apart even more).

will india try and win this if they are in reach at 40 overs?

Should go the old halfway down the pitch, slow as possible, the ball will sneak below the defensive shot and bowl them after 2 bounces. Used to work on old Xbox games!
Yes! I used to do it with Warnie on EA Sports Cricket 07 or whatever it was called, pitch it 3/4 of the pitch from the batsman and clean bowled

Could release the ball at any stage of your run up......bang-bang on the x button before he's even started his run-up.

If its hitting the stumps its out
Not in DRS. It has a "margin for error" were more than 50-60% (I forget which) of the ball must be hitting the stumps to be considered out.
