South Africa have Sri Lanka firmly by the gangulys at the moment.

It's Tahir, what did you expect?Biggest ****wit type appeal there in the history of cricket.
There forerunner was Graeme Labrooy and before him Roy Dias. And to the crease comes Angelo Mathews, the guy with the least Sri Lankan sounding name since Russell Arnold.
I hope the dumb campaigner pulls a hammy charging to the fence next time.![]()

"Grahemy Labrooy? His name's Graeme Max you dickhead"There forerunner was Graeme Labrooy and before him Roy Dias.

Jeez you're ****ed in the head sometimes, Max."Grahemy Labrooy? His name's Graeme Max you dickhead"
"Yes, well. All his team mates have such long and complicated names. Seems a shame for this young man to miss out. I think I'll just go on calling him Grahemy."

Bloody hell......these clowns are going to leave my man Sangakara stranded![]()
The same Finch who proves me right every time he bats by edging to slip and driving in the air?The blokes had one fail all tournament and you're all over him........no wonder Finchy reckons you're a shit bloke
This. Specialises in scoring off part-timers in the middle overs. Couldn't get bat on Starc but plundered Watson, Maxwell and Doherty. He's seriously plodding today though, knockout game, big stage, makes earlier deeds irrelevant.
The Great Man has scored 34 runs off 88 balls, out of 113 off 205 while he's been at the crease. He has done nothing to change the state of the game.Bloody hell......these clowns are going to leave my man Sangakara stranded![]()
On 40 off 100 balls. When one guy holds up an end in a limited overs game of course wickets will fall up the other end. He's batted poorly today.

Are you watching? Jayawardene and Mathews went trying to up the scoring rate. Sanga was 5 off 38 when the field was up and since has pushed singles to the deep.
He's also keeping his wicket.........blaming him for someone else not stepping up is very unfair given his record.
My man Sangakara.......the undismissable!
Chill your jets....you don't have a monopoly of opinions in this thread flog! Are you watching? Jayawardene and Mathews went trying to up the scoring rate. Sanga was 5 off 38 when the field was up and since has pushed singles to the deep.
You're the one who needs to chill. I am merely stating my opinion and you are taking it personally.Chill your jets....you don't have a monopoly of opinions in this thread flog!

The point is him going uber-defensive hurt Sri Lanka's scoring rate and forced them to take too many risks.

Thirimanne stepped up, but Sangakarra couldn't even rotate the strike properly to help take the pressure off him. Both Jayawardne and Matthews got out trying to play shots to lift the rate, even though they weren't the 'set' batsman in their partnership.
When you're as good as Sangakarra, I don't care what the state of the game is, a strike rate of below 50 is pathetic, and more than a little bit selfish.

Spot on!The rest of their batsmen were just too shit to stay out there so Sangakkara had to try and play defensively to bat out the 50 overs and give them a semi competitive total.
Even England would've put up a better effort than this.
At 2-4 I think putting a bit of value on his wicket isn't too much to askThe point is him going uber-defensive hurt Sri Lanka's scoring rate and forced them to take too many risks.

His record is impeccable....even champs have off days, only those who have little understanding of the game would lump that batting demise at Sangakaras feet
Scratchy innings no doubt, but to infer it was selfish......uh uh!
Much rather see him work through it than just throw his wicket away.
