Why do you feel the need to defend these? I am complimenting the Eagles on their first round draft picks. No other club has had that hit rate, not even Hawthorn, who have burned through quite a few in the past decade (Dowler, Thorp, etc). It's astonishing how many wins West Coast have had at the draft. Well done, you're great drafters.

Whilst we've made some good picks and some ok picks, the fact they are all still on our list is a credit to the drafting team. That said, we've obviously picked a guy who is just best 22, and passed on some absolute stars. Swings and roundabouts I guess.
