Apparently Fulham might want to take Elliot off our hands. Maybe we can throw in Williamson as well!

I get the feeling Bigirimana might be in some trouble for this...

"This might put me in trouble but you look at what happened to Southampton five or six years ago,' he said. 'Sometimes as a club you need everything to be reviewed – its foundation and the structure.

'I don’t want them to go down and get relegated. Nobody wants that to happen but it’s all about the future."

All right, we can all relax now guys. We're safe. Apparently we have the best manager in the PL.

I guess we can forgive Ashley and look forward to winning the title next season. :$

Sadly this is not a joke. :(

John Carver says he is the "best coach in the Premier League".

Someone needs to lock him up and throw away the key. He's descending to Jo(k)e Kinnear levels...

What do we have to do to get rid of this guy? heck me, he is taking us all for a ride. We have enough clowns to fill a circus at NUFC.

19th on the rich list and yet we're a club run by the asylum!

Not even a week ago he said he's lost the players and now he's trumpeting that he's the best manager in the league. No wonder the players don't listen to him - if he talks dribble like this!

I get he has to have self confidence but when your record puts you in the top bracket of worst managers, its probably not wise to talk such rubbish!

Only thing that makes me feel better is seeing Micky McCarthy up the top hahaha..

I'm actually lost for thoughts on us, I'm just completely dumb founded. I'll stay up tomorrow night just in hope, in the mean time..... Victory boys are no 1

and we're 1-0 down to West Brom...well and truly in the poop now fellas! In the relegation places on GD :(

QPR away is possible and if it comes down to the last day at home to West Ham maybe Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll remember their good times here and give us a couple of pens to keep us up!!

Geez Perez is a talent. Needed that goal. Cisse and Aarons on the bench gives us some options to.

Need to try and capitalise on our play this half and the crowd being behind us. Need a goal...

tige19 apparently Lee Clark has resigned!

In other manager news, reports in Spain we're offering Moyes $5m a season to manage us. I'd take Moyes but $5m seems plenty...

A point isn't bad in the scheme of things despite most of the teams around us winning. Burnley are down though got a win at Hull (who have Spurs and Man Utd in their last 2). QPR (who we have next) are down if they don't beat City. Stopping the rot was important.

2 in front of hull who have spurs with I think not much to play for, perhaps avoiding a uefa cup spot if anything, and man u who will be needing a win for an automatic champions league spot.

Get it done NUFC you flogs.. Bring him home!! Clark has had a dream season, Bristol where dynamite, maybe there's a chance his been sounded out? Bizzare he has quit after winning promotion to the Championship, the guy has always been a student of the game and very respected

He'd certainly be an improvement over Carver!

Apparently Moyes has now ruled out coming to us - we're going to get stuck with a useless hack again I reckon.

Need QPR to lose to City tonight so they don't have anything to play for as well. The last time we flirted with relegation (2 seasons ago) I believe we won away to already relegated QPR in order to secure our safety in the penultimate game. Hopefully we can do it again...

but the last time we get relegated we played a team with claret and we needed to better the result hull got against Man United and this time around it may be the same, only united dont have the title sewn up nor do they have a champions league final the week after to worry about.

True that chunkylover though if it's any consolation, we'll be playing at home and West Ham are in pretty poor form at the moment - probably don't have anything to play for so maybe the players will already be looking forward to their holidays...

QPR are down too so hopefully they don't offer us much resistance in the next game.

Just realised we regain Janmaat from suspension for the QPR game plus Cisse and Aarons should have more fitness and De Jong may be fit again for selection. Those 4 would greatly improve the quality of the team IMO.

Janmaat in for Anita at RB.
Cisse for Riviere up front (though I think Carver has already said Cisse won't start).
Aarons for Jonas perhaps out wide (or coming on as a sub if his fitness isn't up to it). Maybe move Jonas to LB given his overlapping and hard work running both ways.
De Jong for Raylor in midfield. De Jong can take set pieces too I think (Raylor's have been terrible lately).

Adding those names to our starting lineup makes the team look much stronger IMO.

Plus Dummett looked good at CB on the weekend. Threw himself into tackles with force and purpose - something Colo and Williamson lack.

Big game tonight lads.

Team is:

Krul
Janmaat Colo Dummett Gutierrez
Colback Taylor Sissoko
Cabella Riviere Perez

Sub's: Woodman, Aarons, Cisse, Gouffran, Anita, Ameobi and Abeid

Would have had Abeid in for Taylor personally but not bad otherwise.

Hopefully Carver gives Cisse and Aarons plenty of time tonight if we need a goal - always seems to be slow with his subs.
