Goodes gets booed because he pointed out the racist spectator on TV and talks a lot about Indigenous problems in Australia. Some, mostly white, Australians would prefer he never talk about such things that make them comfortable.
inb4 posters pretend they've always booed him
I doubt everyone booes Goodes for the same reason. Players such as Thomas, Monfries and Ballantyne could be said to be 'soft' and seek frees more than someone like Goodes but they don't get roundly booed. It's clearly selective. That's the point. Social justice warriors assume he si booed for standing up for indigenous issues when in actuality he is booed for being a soft, free kick drawing, dried up hack who plays for one of the most hated clubs in the land. Oh and he abused a young girl.

That doesn't really stack up though. No one ever booed Nicky Windmar more or less after he spoke out, no one ever booed Michael Long more or less after he spoke out - and now he is almost revered for the work he still does today. Plenty of other indigenous players do plenty for indigenous communities and no one boos them![]()
Ablett use to be booed at GeelongJust a few names: Lenny Hayes, Simon Black, Pendles (maybe I'm biased), Ablett Jr, Josh Kennedy (Syd), Swallow, Sandi/Pav/McPharlin, Beau Waters, Harry Taylor, Fletch (only in his old age really).
And:
Lewis-M*Fing-Roberts-Thompson... you just can't be anything but impressed with the kind of career LRT had for himself, and how he always played his role in the big games.
What is the right way to fight for Aboriginal rights? How he fights for aboriginal rights amplify the boos
Him fighting for those rights are not the reason though
What is the right way to fight for Aboriginal rights?
Very simple as far as I can tell. In good Australian vernacular - he's a sook. He plays for frees, he has in the past gotten looked after very, very well by the umpires, nothing is ever his fault, and he plays the victim card whenever he doesn't like.........well, anything.
You're kidding right? We boo the shit out of him every time we see the little turd.Incorrect. Nice attempt at trying to dismiss the racism though.
Boomer Harvey is unbooable. Little champion who overcame the odds to one of the most enduring players the game has ever seen.

This may be why........No
He's been booed long before that incident
It has gotten worse since he was made Australian of the year though, which is when Goodes changed from being an advocate for aboriginal rights, to speaking down to anybody with an opinion that differs from his own
His on field antics also worsened following the award. For example, he actually asks The umpires for 50 (watch the replay of the weekend for example)
In short, his antics on the field are what he's booed for

Sorry but do you not get what the thread is about? Harvey gets booed so it kinda stands to reason that he's booableThat doesn't count because you idolise turds like Ballantyne or that unskilled dog, Crowley.
Adam Goodes, because it's racist.
But anybody else is fair game.
