I'm planning on just going into a coma for 1 weekend.

So you went to Adelaide the other week, what you do over the long weekend?

I've got our last rugby home game for the year on Friday and I'm going to Norf v Sydney on Saturday just for shits and giggs.

Super Rugby only goes for 4 months yeah?

I've never been but why isn't the season longer? Or is it to cater for the international season?

Basically yeah. Union is one of the few sports that has a real international season, you have stuff like The Rugby Championship (or whatever the **** they call the Tri-Nations now lol) and (this year) and the World Cup.

I reckon it's for the international season, yeah. It's a great game but it's better to watch live than on tv.

We're last in the power rankings despite winning more games than Gold Coast, Brisbane and Carlton.

We also beat Gold Coast and Brisbane at their home grounds.

Roby must be smoking some high quality weed when he does his calculations.

Yeah you're right, it's odd that Sooz can be related to one twin and not the other but Sooz has never been one to play by conventional rules.

I've got a bunch of mates that are Collingwood members and most weeks one of them can't make it, so I just pinch one of their seats.

Is that what Roby has said? The last time I checked we had the most free kicks paid against us this year and his Hawks got double the free kicks we got.

Not that actual facts have ever played a part in Roby's calculations.

Yep. There's a year 1 sign up fee for AFL Membership.

Your AFL Membership counts towards your club membership numbers, so it depends on whether you need club membership or not. I'm a Collingwood Social Club member so that I go into the raffle for Collingwood Grand Final tickets if Pies make it - which came through in 2010 and 2011, thankfully. Otherwise I'd have no access rights to the game.

I have one instead of club membership. The same amount of $ goes to the club as it would for an 11 game GA membership (I think) but you get access to any 40 games at Etihad and the MCG.
Last year I went to about 32 games so it was very cost effective.

I barely get to all the Collingwood games let alone other teams nowdays - but it pays off for finals. Silver members can get in to the first 2 weeks for booking fee only. That's where I get the value these days.

Yep, correct. You might get a discount from the club if you're an AFL Member - Collingwood supporters do.
