Victoria would have the midfield to beat WA over 4 quarters, but WA have the KPP's. Would be a great match-up, with probably the 'gameplan' being deciding factor.
Meanwhile both would beat SA by 10 goals.
Not taking an anti-SoO position or anything but preseason games are necessary preparation for the H&A season. SoO is purely an exhibition, an event.
The best ruckman and forward do, and the best defender if you add mackenzie into the mix
The WA team he mentioned weren't even the best WA players but would still destroy that team.
Weakness of the SA team aside... As per the op... You realise WA and VIC started SoO, not SA, right?

Some pretty handy crumbers at their feet too.
Some handy forwards who missed out off the top of my head - LeCras, Darling, McCarthy, Garlett, Ballantyne,
Vics better in the midfield and less fringe players and a VIC second XXII would dominate a WA 2nd XXII but a WA side would be more than competitive

Surely that isn't even close to being their best team.
Our midfield would absolutely pants yours. It just runs far too deep and games are won and lost in the midfield. Oh and you claim you have the best two mids but have you ever heard of a bloke named Gary Ablett junior? Oh and dangerfield>PRIDDIS just quietly.

It's so dead.
That SA team really isn't too bad, except for the backline. Hombsch is more suited to being a third tall who can run off his man and Westhoff is no key defender either.
