Sydney went flying off to the right this week. gone up 12 points defensively and 7 points offensively. Currently at their best respective positions for the season.

Wonder what will happen next week if the Swans flog Suns 80+.

False hope :(

2015 has a definite 2012 look to it.

QF predictions has both WA sides winning by just 1 point
Depends on what Freo do with Port next weekend. If Swans can belt the Suns and Freo really struggle against Port, it'll give us a lot of hope. At least we're working back into form whereas it looks like Freo have abandoned theirs.

Ross' presser gave a very clear indication he's keen on resting up again, exactly what he did in 2013. Port will win by 50+.

They changed to rules after 2013 but Ross is apparently going to ask the AFL to let him do what they changed the rule to stop him doing should be interesting

Nope. The rule is that you can't do it if it will affect the placing of finals teams. Resting our players against Port would not do this.

For example, if the Hawks decided that they think Freo would be the easier week one matchup, they could rest their players for round 23 to purposely lose. This would be in violation of the rule. What Freo want to do, isn't.

Lions x 2, Blues, Dons etc - easiest draw in the comp - no wonder they are where they are.
1. I'm pretty sure everyone plays Carlton and Essendon, so including them as 2/3 "bad" teams is a little odd.
2. The squiggle takes the quality of opposition into account. In fact, that's pretty much all it takes into account.
3. How do those tears taste?

Umm, the Port game is a dead rubber. You'd be foolish to take anything from that game. See Freo v St Kilda in 2013.
