It won't look bad on Channel 7's standard definition broadcast. It will just look like a shiny golden v.

ok Arm2Leg, i'll biteThe AFL already did West Coast a favour by giving them the easiest of draws. Now this? What a disgrace. /s
You're an idiot. /sok Arm2Leg, i'll bite
3 of our 5 double-up games were against top 8 teams (one finished on top). Not exactly soft. Unlike Hawthorn's "punishment" of its captain.

So does this mean if it's an eagles/hawks granny, the hawks will wear power ranger jumpers?
Lol.Nah, the AFL don't wear their TP in Melbourne.
West Coast were the home team in 2005. Wings is considered an "interstate" jumper hence worn in GF's.Lol.
West Coast were the away team in both GFs against Sydney, therefore the full royal was used.
Wikipedia list them as the away team. Sorry.West Coast were the home team in 2005. Wings is considered an "interstate" jumper hence worn in GF's.

Just checked on the West Coast website. We were away in the 2005 GF, and home in 2006.West Coast were the home team in 2005. Wings is considered an "interstate" jumper hence worn in GF's.
I stand corrected, I knew one was and one we were away.Just checked on the West Coast website. We were away in the 2005 GF, and home in 2006.
Your point about the wings being an interstate jumper still stands though.I stand corrected, I knew one was and one we were away.
this is from the west coast website.West Coast beat Sydney in the 2005 Qualifying Final & Adelaide in the PF. Sydney beat West Coast in the 2006 Qualifying Final, & Freo in the PF.
Therefore, West Coast would've been the home team in 2005 & Sydney in 2006, right? The Eagles finished higher up the ladder in both years, mind.
I'm horrified 2005 only got 91! Jeepers
one of the stands was still being built, so capacity was reducedI'm horrified 2005 only got 91! Jeepers
Re: Home team in the Grand Final, I was always under the impression that it was the winner of the "1st Preliminary Final" that was deemed the home team. This would make West Coast the away team for both 2005 and 2006, as they competed in the "2nd Preliminary Final" in both years.
