I don't get the Kreuzer love. He's hardly an upgrade on Maric who probably still has another two - three years of good footy left, and he will cost us the kitchen sink. And then there's the fact he can barely string a season together because he's always injured. Did I mention he's an ugly campaigner as well? I couldn't stand seeing that crook head in the beautiful Richmond jumper.

Like you not a big Kreuzer fan... but I don't think Ivan has 2-3 full seasons plus finals in him. IMO we do need to look at bringing in a ruck this off-season.

We should go after Sidebottom. Surely with all these new players Collingwood claim to be signing there would only be peanuts left to give Steele. How disgruntled would you be being someone like Sidebottom, Ben Reid or Travis Cloke with all these new money hungry grubs walking into your club and taking up half the f***in salary cap.

Bennell?? I doubt he will go to WA. His family are concerned about the influences in Perth and would prefer him to go to Melbourne or Adelaide.

Yep - let us keep that in mind before we jump up and down with anger due to the Pies having so many pre-trade week victories. They have the money no doubt, but IMO its a bit reckless with regard to how they spend it.

Treloar I get (replaces Beams, adds a midfield jet for post Swan and Pendlebury era, possible future captain) and I understand the NEED for those players but its a but trigger happy in my book for two reasons.

1. Scharenberg, Langford, Moore, Freeman (who is currently at odds over his contract), De Goey and Maynard will all look at those contracts and say 'why not us - where is our pay day).

2. When those listed above come of their inflated contracts currently, they will more than likely use the current contracts as a starting point for negotiations.

3. I get Aish. I get Treloar because they make the Pies' best 22 now and the future better. Kreuzer may do the same. But the others? Maybe in the now (for a team that finished 12th) but for the future? It may happen but it also may not.

Not a huge fan of really anyone on Collingwood's list outside Grundy, Moore and Scharenberg. And Scharenberg's injury problems have me slightly concerned.
