Maybe as part ruck part forward, lets not forget rucks will be more needed 2016, just like before suby came in, , every one had second ruck coming off bench.

Yeah but none of those players mentioned can kick a point from 70m out.Geeze I'd want Bugg back if that's the case. Do they need Griff? Even if McCarthy goes they've still got Jezza, Patton, Tomlinson and Stewart.
That's interesting. I don't really rate Griffiths but I guess it suggests you're definitely still in the running.Apparently on SEN - we've offered 2 first rounders AND Ben Griffiths for Treloar.
Huh collingwood, the new essendon, the similarities are amazing,Recent history suggests I should back the Pies to be top 8 at round 11 2016 and bottom 8 round 23 2016.

Collingwood or Richmond won't have the final say, it will be GWS. As they need the highest picks possible so they can get the 2 academy players they are after without compromising other draft picks they will have. I still tend to think that Collingwood will finally bend to GWS demands & end up with Treloar, yet you don't want to show all your cards to early. I also think that Treloar will not screw over GWS as long as he gets the money he is after.Just a few things here:
1) Treloar has already been coached by Buckley as a kid. So he already has a good relationship with him. As a matter of fact, Buckley has coached a decent amount of the GWS list. It's a big part of how we also landed Adams when he was also linked to Geelong.
2) Adams is also pretty good mates with Treloar
3) Dan Richardson was at ESP before getting the gig at Richmond, Buckley is managed by ESP. Who do you reckon was most likely Nathan's rep? They would also have a good relationship. Buckley may not be the greatest coach ever but he's not an idiot and list building is something I reckon he's not bad at.
4) I'm aware this "being a good side" thing is pretty new to most of you, but as a big club with a big supporter base, you'll need to get used to being linked to nearly everyone and not getting any of them. Under Malthouse, it happened to us from 2000 to 2009. Under Buckley, we've landed just about every single player we've been seriously linked to, which suggests to me we're most likely going to land Treloar, Aish and Kreuzer. Not guaranteed of course, but recent history would suggest it's the case.
If we were happy to pay the same money he would've nominated us in the first placeThat's interesting. I don't really rate Griffiths but I guess it suggests you're definitely still in the running.
Does this mean that you'd be happy to pay the same money that Collongwood has reportedly offered? If so, would this then mean Treloar would be on more money than Cotchin and Riewoldt?
Yeh? He's speculating, thought you were allowed to do that on your own board. Doesn't say anywhere there that we are going to get him and you aren't, everyone still knows you're still more than likely going to get him, I think we are allowed to say the door is still slightly open though considering trade week hasn't even started yet.
Surely something would be coming back for that offer.
That's a terrible deal for us if that's all there is to it. 3 players for one is horrendous. It's not like AT is a gun. He might be one in a couple of years but not yet.Apparently on SEN - we've offered 2 first rounders AND Ben Griffiths for Treloar.
Oh, so Treloar would take a lesser contract to get to the Tigers? I would have thought that the contract would now have to be very similar. Either way looks like the race is well under way.If we were happy to pay the same money he would've nominated us in the first place
I'm sure Griff will be enough to get the deal over the line. They are running short on key position talent.

Even with McCarthy wanting out.. if they refuse to trade him then throw McCarthy in the top 3 fwds for them.
They have plenty.
The only problem with this is that this will probably be the main trade for the draft & it will stall other trades as other teams see how this pans out. So I would imagine it is in the best interest for all teams involved to get this done as early as possible, otherwise it may affect the chances of getting other trades done for the Tigers. If nothing can be agreed upon between Pies and GWS and there's only a few days left of trade period, of course it's possible.
