Had a quick play with photoshop and I reckon Navy/Royal for home and away will look pretty good, obviously the shorts won't always be white and it will look better overall but I am a lazy campaigner.

based on one of the above posts.
i re-traced and modified the eagle logo.

i find its the perfect blend of our old and current logo,
uses the same lines in the beak so it feels familiar and pays homage.

the beak of the above poster i felt was too long,
would throw the symmetry off on the jumper.

ive designed the below to have a more overall crest which will look great on club merch and where the logo is used in isolation.
it also will work well in the corporate environment.

i havent developed any text for 'west coast eagles' but i think the club should try to use the eagle head in isolation when possible.
id opt for a text layout that is more like brisbane or richmond's rather than hawthorn's which is too chunky.

id also love to lose the white box around the SGIO logo on the jumpers,
i understand brand restrictions and so forth, but its an eye sore looking at logos in these chunky boxes.

theres not way the current head works on the wings jumper properly unless they create a simplified version

The ammount of people wearing navy merch to games is pretty high. I dont think it is as simple as "change it to royal blue cause it looks better". Most people dont buy new merch every year
