His wingspan looks significantly larger than his height. Also has a good leap and will magically gain a couple of CMs like every AFL player when he is drafted.

Big problem is he is very skinny and will take 4 years to develop

how many years? #warnock

Curtly Hampton wants out of the Giants for more senior games. Possibly an ideal replacement for Yarran?

Would certainly be interested in Hampton, particularly (but not exclusively) if Yarran moves elsewhere.

Very good skills and provides some real dash out of the back half. Has fallen down the pecking order at GWS lately, so you'd think he'd be available at a very reasonable price.

He had a poor year this year, but he was performing very strongly during the second half of 2013 and first half of 2014 in particular. At 22 you'd think he has plenty of time to recapture that form which would make him a very welcome addition.

Hampton has some knocks on him regarding his defensive side i.e. he has hardly any. Otherwise, I rate him as an offensive back flanker.

Adelaide will do well out of shedding dangerfield.
Use the cap space to fill in holes in there list. Which from my perspective is pretty complete.

Yep, probably one of the most "balanced" lists in the comp right now.

Only area I think they lack is a bit of dash and zip on the wing, but they cover it with hard-working mids like Sloane and Danger. Hampton could be a real weapon at half back for them.

As for your second question, there's been a lot of interest in Clayton Oliver in the past couple of months. He won the TAC Cup's Morrish Medal over the weekend after a super second half of the season, and continued to perform deep into September with his Murray Bushrangers. Showing his overall midfield quality on the weekend, he had 21 disposals, 10 tackles and 7 clearances. What I like about him is his burst of speed out of the stoppages: he plays a bit like Patrick Cripps, but seems to have more upside in terms of his natural breakaway pace in the first few metres. Not sure if he's done enough to displace the guys in the top 10 - I think more likely to be late first round or early second.

More upside than cripps!!!! I thought only Andy Collins and Chuck norris had more upside that our paddy

Rookie draft: Any interest in Tom Swift from Claremont? 25yo, 189cm midfielder.

Used to be on West Coast's list but walked away to study. Former pick 20.

Played 8 WAFL games this season averaging 21 disposals, 3 marks and 4 tackles.
Yeah I remember him, he was a gun junior rated #1 player in the country at U/16 level if my memory serves correctly. I think Dylan Buckley was rated the same at U/16 level in his year but like swift is lightly built and got overtook by the bigger boys... Is he still thin?

85kg but don´t know when measurements were done. has barely played in 3 years, so body should have recovered.

my feeling is with Carrots and Judd leaving we might want a mature ager that isn't Jason Tutt.

walked away to study. Does this mean he's back or is he content being a part time footy player

Weitering
Oliver
Gresham
Rice
SOSOS

No more football for Weitering and Rice this year as the Dandenong Stingrays lose their Prelim Final today. However, the two lads tried hard for their team as the best players indicate. Weitering was swung forward in a last quarter desperate attempt and Rice was swung into the midfield. Weitering kicked 2 early goals in the last and Rice gave some much needed momentum for the Stingrays. Just too late in the game for the Stingrays.

Dandenong Stingrays
Goal Kickers: J. Weitering 2, K. Collins, S. Gladman, K. Mutimer
Best Players: D. Capiron, J. Weitering, B. Rice, L. Williams, L. McKay, K. Collins

I've seen Capiron play a couple of times this year and he would be a good pick up for a late ND pick or in the Rookie Draft if he slips through. Can play back or wing from what I've seen.
