We wanted more. Didn't get it in the end and gave away Crameri for unders. The nerve. Bloody Essendon giving away players for under their worth.
So difficult to deal with.
No because we did up the trade (after Burgoyne nominated us over you guys) you guys just had to evaluate & accept. Were we difficult to trade with when we helped you land Shaun Burgoyne?

Yes and he tries to get maximum. The thing that Dodoro will NEVER get and understand, is that:
It is not what they are worth, it is what you can get for them.

Bloody Dodoro doing his job. The nerve, the outrage THE HORROR
Why does a players worth diminish if he's uncontracted? Does it make him a lessor player? And there it is - the constant over valuing of players by Dodoro and Ess fans leading to unrealistic offers and time wasting. You don't see it because you can't see it.
The Crameri deal was fair value for an uncontracted player in most people's eyes. (Dodoro and a few fans such as you excepted.)
I look forward to Carlton and Yarran asking price.Bloody Dodoro, trying to squeeze every ounce of blood out of every bloody stone, every bloody year.....has got Dodoro and EFC the reputation of being trade week dicks and something to avoid.
Oh the outrage, OH THE HORROR.
We offered our 1st and Hooker for Caddy.Bloody Dodoro, trying to squeeze every ounce of blood out of every bloody stone, every bloody year.....has got Dodoro and EFC the reputation of being trade week dicks and something to avoid.

So hard to deal with. Always asking too much.
Yep. He sure would. So difficult to deal with. That's just it. You haven't heard much at all.
If Yarran was an EFC player, Dodoro would have already splashed over the media that he wants Dustin Martin or Alex Rance or Trent Cotchin.....ah hang on...scratch Trent.....has anyone found Trent yet?
Except for the fact he wasn't.At the time, Hooker was a shit truck.

Dodoro was trying to work a 3 way deal. Didn't come off. You got Crameri with a mid 20's pick. Still you sit here and complain how hard done by you were. We never asked for outrageous deals like your 1st. Jusr tried to work something better.
There are no rules that say trafes must be done on day 1 so people on big footy don't get all teary.
No, you wanted more than that.
"ESSENDON wants any of Hamish Hartlett, Ollie Wines or Chad Wingard as a “fair-trade” return from Port Adelaide for ruckman-forward Paddy Ryder.
The Bombers’ first preference is midfielder Hartlett who, as a contracted player, can block any trade.
The Bombers delivered this super list to the Power at the opening of AFL trade talks at Etihad Stadium with Essendon list manager Adrian Dodoro telling The Advertiser: “Paddy finished seventh in our best-and-fairest count. So we will take Port Adelaide’s seventh, eighth or ninth best ... we’ll take Hamish Hartlett."
Now come on boncer, if you're going to argue points about what your club supposedly never did, you should at least have some fact to base it on.
Yes. A threat that had zero grounds much to people's dismay.Mate you can't and don't want to acknowledge some basics. Being uncontracted doesn't make someone a lesser player. But it can and often does reduce the losing club's negotiating leverage and as a consequence reduces that players value.
And the view on Dodoro wasting time is just about universal in club land it ain't a BF thing.
And by the way, continuing to throw up Ryder as an example of Ess' willingness to trade reasonably is total BS. Ryder's manager publicly threatened to sue Ess for breach of contract in not providing a safe workplace in order to make Ryder a DFA. Another court threat which included the possibility of losing Ryder for nix plus AFL pressure was the only reason Dodoro traded Ryder. And even then he typically and petulantly dragged it out.

Perhaps reckoning isn't your strong suit then?Saints seem pretty bloody keen to land him, Billings keen I reckon.

Oogga Booga!!
Lawl
Look up ambit claim
All those blokes were contracted, do you think we actually asked for any of them?
The density is staggering in these parts.
