It's been reported that a second rounder might get it done for Bennell. I'm skeptical but if so then Bennell and McCarthy is completely doable.

Another two I think. GWS are quite happy to ignore contracts if it suits them. Most of the boys they are looking to trade out this year are contracted.

We might do 5 for 15 + Weller, but you would feel bent over by that, unfortunately if you really want to go after McCarthy you will need to grab the lube.

Would definitely do that, though I'd rather keep Weller. Need a McCarthy type but.

I think he was on loan to the Giants from Freo in his scholarship years and played in there tac cup team. Had a very good year in the wafl.

We should not sell the farm for this kid. We should trade only for his market value. Priority should be with Harley Bennell. Plus I saw on another thread that Dawes is available. With Bennell complementing an A grade midfield, a player like Dawes would do the trick.

McCarthy looks the goods though. But let's not get desperate for this guy. Dawes will be fine for our premiership tilt
