I have been speculating adelaide are involved in a three way trade with you guys and GWS. Given Hampton and seeds have nominated the crows and we have multiple firsts and seconds to play with, there is certainly enough picks and value in play to satisfy everyone?

Pick 28 + 32 = 12 as far as academy points go. They may need a slight top up as it's essentially an upgrade from 8 to 7 (100 academy points) plus 12 and your 2016 first for treloar and Hampton. Not far off IMO.

Tom Browne is reporting that the Giants or the Suns may come into play with the Saints as they look to harvest their pick 5 to ultimately secure Jake Carlisle.

The Giants will have picks 7 and 8 once the deal for Treloar is completed before the weekend, whilst the Suns will have 4 first round picks once the trade for Dixon goes through.

As I explained in a later email, 28 plus 32 is the equivalent of pick 12 on an academy points basis. Draft position is a lesser priority than points for GWS. Not far off.

EDIT:

based off the below mooted trades:

Adelaide/GWS ~ Hampton for 2nd round
Collingwood/GWS ~ Treloar + 2nd round for 2x 1st round
Collingwood/Adelaide ~ 2nd round for Seedsman
Collingwood/Brisbane ~ Aish for 2x 2nd round or 1x 1st round


Basically we get Treloar for 2x 1st round picks, but instead of getting a 2nd round pick in return we get GWS to send Hampton to Adelaide, we package that move with Seedsman to get pick 13. Adelaide for their part get a 2 pick upgrade swapping 9 (to GWS) for 7. We then send pick 13 to Brisbane for Aish.
