Im just wondering what the bombers have done to piss off the saints? They were pretty persistent on not trading number five, but now they want to get complicated and trade it to another club?

I think saints don't want you guys to have 2 top 10 picks because they know your list is around the same age and will contend around the same time as them.

I thought the bombers were bad to trade with, now i see that the saints are just pure low ballers to not only you guys but the pies. They want to trade saad for freeman. what a joke of a club.

Hope you guys get the most out of carlise and don't let the saints get away with their shitty trade wants

To be fair we have offered pick 5, just with two 2nd rounders coming back.
Plus the only reason we are making it 'complicated' is so that we could offer them pick 10 straight which is definitely a fair trade for Essendon.
Also looks like it will be next years 2nd rounder for Freeman.

You must give up something to get something. Look at hawthorns trading history. We may have paid overs in some trades with picks, but you never know how good they will be. I have a great example for you:

Draft picks No. 25 and 41 to kangas for gibbo and 69.
Jay Nash and draft pick No. 9 for S. Burgoyne. To make room for him we trade Ben McGlynn and Josh P. Kennedy (who speak for themselves) for Draft picks No. 39, 46 and 70

Now look at the year 2009 draft and tell me who won that?

If Essendon have said no to pick 10 I would be shocked, you would only do that if you were sure the Hawthorn deal goes through which is looking very unlikely.

It actually looks more and more likely and would be a better deal than 10. Longer this drags on Carlisle will feel done over by the saints and that's the game changer.

The trade with port may favor saints but it doesn't matter to us because we're getting the pick 10 for JC. Up to port if they want to overpay.
