And yet we all know when the trade wrap ups are done, Carlton will still get an 'F'.

They don't want an extra 126 points. That's near on useless for them, it's just giving us a(nother) leg up for no reason.
19 (Yarran), 20 and 21 are worth 2738. Pick 7 (1644) and Tomlinson....that is something they'd have to at least consider

Looks like we are still relying on the old messiah rebuilt strategy. Just this time the messiah is a former club champ!

I wonder if Rodgers could have pulled off something like what SOS did today. I wonder!![]()

Apparently so are Terry Wallace, Jon Ralph and Damian Barrett![]()

Robbo.... If he were any dumber we'd have to water him. What about Robbo!![]()
How so.
GWS won't do 7 for 20 + 21, but they will do 7 and Tomlinson for 19, 20 + 21?
Reckon your maths is off.
Points for them is points. 126 points may not sound like much, but if one of their kids is bid on with a top 6 pick (very likely) they lose 7 regardless. If they can trade in such a way that prevents one of their second rounders sliding into the third round, then it's a good result.
Is 'Sauce' for Phillips or (the) Lamb?Kedge has been given a lot of run-with roles so hasn't really been given chance to show off his skills but appears polished inside 50 and is talk he is a decent kick.
Plowman I believe does have a good kick, but his other traits are more of a highlight.
Lamb I believe does/did but again... opportunity etc
Doesn't matter for Sauce necessarily.
This points stuff looks like this to me.... But if points is what it takes, I say we do what we need to in order to get Tomlinson.126 points is equivalent to in between pick 61 and 62. Why would they bother? They'll lose pick 7 to Academy kids regardless, but they'd rather use pick 7 themselves than give another team a leg up for no personal gain. We give them an extra 1000 points, that's a pick in the teens, that is helpful to them.

No, seriously, this man took over from Mike Sheehan. That's like me taking over from Chris Judd!Robbo.... If he were any dumber we'd have to water him.
We don't have 19 yetIf GWS would do 19,20,21 for Tomlinson & 7 it would have been done by now.
We don't have 19 yet
And they don't have 7 yet.We don't have 19 yet

Really.....how many games did he play?Don't forget the Melksham, Freeman trades didn't involve players. We also got Kerridge.

Beats the hell out of me but IMO SOS is doing ok so I am trusting his judgement at this stage.Really.....how many games did he play?
Why do you think Ryan Clarke and Clayton Oliver will go pick 5 or 6?Talk that he might be on Melbourne's radar to pair with Hogan for the next decade.
1. Carlton - Weitering
2. Brisbane - Schache
3. Melbourne - Weideman
4. Essendon - Parish
5. Essendon - Clarke/Francis
6. Gold Coast - Oliver
7. GWS/Coll/Carlton? - Clarke/Francis
8. Carlton - Curnow
9. Adelaide - Burton
That'd be my rough guess at this point.
