Good for you. I'm getting over our clubs lack of aggression. Premiership windows don't hang around waiting. We are blessed with some of the most talented players I've seen in Richmond colours. Rance, Cotchin, Deledio, Martin and Jack are as good as a core group in the AFL but they will go to waste if we don't add to this stock.

Exactly! I love the fact that Carlton hates us. our position is not diminished by not getting Yarran. It is just not improved. Carlton's position is specifically diminished, because Yarran will be cancerous if still inside the club in 2016

Yes we would, because we'd still be using one of 15 and 18 in the draft. That would only be the case if we traded both of those picks as well

Aggressive in general, not in negotiating. In the last 4 years our football department has continually stated how happy they are with our list and the confidence they have in our coaching staff. Sorry but this years loss should be a warning sign that we do need to top up with some talent. Natural development isn't going to springboard us from elimination finalists to contenders. It hasn't in 3 years and it won't going forward.

He is also an idiot, they need our pick so they get Tomlinson<sp>. We just hold firm, if they want Tomlinson that bad they will blink if not we keep our picks get good kids, they miss out on tomlinson or are forced to give a higher pick and we get Yarran for nothing next year as they wont get compo as its more then likely compo picks are scrubbed by the AFL

Too many here have extreme requirements. We "must" have a doozy, we must win every trade, we must have every negotiation be a win

World isn't like that. We are competing in a world of 18 highly competitive clubs, with scores of managers, and over 900 potential players, and this dynamic is constantly shifting

If you approach this with rigidity in expectation, you are doomed to fail

We need to be accountable, but also realistic. People wanting BH sacked for failing to secure Bennell and treloar really are kidding themselves
