He’s a tall, agile forward who can probably go into the ruck because he can jump. He does need to put a body on but he’s a perfect key-position size.

From what i have read, 9. Harry McKay – Gold Coast seems high?

Cal Twomey has Eric Hipwood at 14, isn't he another one of those players that seem possibly a bit too tall?

I like where you're going. Why?....well because it's one of the few here I think that could realistically happen. Personally I'd still swap Burton for Bonner, but Gresham or Clarke would be fine for #19. I think Burton will slide all the way into the middle of the second round.

We need another two half back flankers about as much as I need an additional hole in the head. They would have to be bloody Elite with a capital E before I'd considered it (e.g. Francis). I would take the players he's picked at 24, 26 or 27 before I'd consider taking Tucker.

More likely we'd take Weitering, Oliver, McKay, Burton rather than Weitering, Tucker (HBF), McKay, Cole (another HBF) imo.

Have no idea where Tucker will go but he's much more than a HBF. Has played plenty of good footy in the midfield and is underrated on BigFooty. What's his weakness?

No player is *too* tall. It's just the hit rate of particularly tall players putting together athleticism and game sense has been poor.

Largely this is because we tend to see clubs take a risk on potentially physically dominant players and really athletic people who have good game sense are already rare, let alone ones who stand over 2m's tall

Not really, just slightly down on form for four weeks. Gun player with no real weaknesses.

Have to disagree with you there. He was putrid in the champs imo. He may have been carrying something, who knows. He was better afterwards when he went back to the Rebels, but still, not interested. Seemed lazy and lacked impact from not much production, no inside game which isn't the be all and end all, but if he doesn't make it as an outside mid, he doesn't make it at all.
He has plenty of weaknesses to me, in any case, can you name a single player to have ever played AFL who has no real weakness. Just a matter of how many and weather those weaknesses have too much negative impact on their games.

#1 Weitering

#8 With everybody outside the top 2 having rumours of sliding for one reason or another thrown around, with the next 6 players I'd take whoever was left of Parish/Curnow/Weideman/Francis/H McKay/Oliver .... in that order.

#11 If any of the above are available, take them in the same order however if we have already taken Curnow or Weideman, I'd take Oliver over McKay. If all are gone, Gresham or Burton in that order.

#19 Again, any sliders from the previous two groups in that order. If gone Collins, Balic, Mathieson, Milera, Hibberd, Dunkley. To round out acceptable selections Tucker, Bonner, D McKay, Ah Chee, Cunningham, Partington, Clarke.

I guess that means my top 20 preference, excluding Academy bids, is something like:

Parish at 8 would be unbelievable. Some people say he has no real weapons, but to me he looks like a Houlihan/Thomas hybrid with a better inside game. Would be an insane pick up.
