Utter bullshit..........this club is a clean sheet right now.

We traded for height, (which apparently doesn't mean KP's), we got the remnants of GWS (for the second time).

Best available...............simple as that.

Silvagni has stated a 3 year rebuild .
It's hard to imagine he hasn't mapped out a strategic plan going forward with the knowledge of what's available draft/trade wise .

Nah, someone will turn out better than one of our picks down the draft order in a few years time and people will call for SOS' head. Take it to the bank.

If he doesn't pick the best four players AND his kid tomorrow - he can GTFO. Sounds balanced.

Of course he has and would have sights trained on players already.....Tomlinson included for next year.

So if Carlton deemed Weitering, Collins, B.McKay and Glass-McCasker to be the best four players in this draft, we'd take the 4 KPD's?
Of course not, hence that best available talk is really fluff that ultimately leads to the best & most suitable player for the team at the time, with knowledge of what may be/has to be, coming in subsequent years.

Seems like we get the best of the players at current stage of development in Weitering.

I reckon this allows for a bit of flexibility in choice. I want two good midfielders and a sliding Collins to make the four for us...but I think there is no chance we snag Oliver at 8, better chance with Curnow at 11 and by 19 no chance of Collins.

the last thing we need is a flashy HBF or undersized HFF who need to develop a 'tank' before they can play midfield....been there done that to death.

Besides the fact i'd prefer a few over McKay thats close to the perfect draft for us.

It seems like the writing is on the wall with McKay and i'll have to accept it. Would prefer him to Collins so thats a plus

Cunningham is exicting but im still loving Donner at #19!

Ah Chee again at #6 - interesting, appears to be locked in.

Twas the night before the draft, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

WEITERING!!!!!! **** YEAH!!!!!!

Dude is gonna be Harry Tayloring the shit out of our backline until 2030. Get excited.

I like Cuningham. Very good ball user on either side and his right has a fair bit of penetration. Good burst of speed and evasion as well.

Just watched the AFL Draft video of Cuningham. Is it just me or does he have a bit of Chris Judd about him - real burst of speed and even kicks like him.
