So, is it OK to touch another man's head?

Phoenix put in an awful effort against Denver's reserves, Hornacek needs to revatilise his troops and quick.

Conversely it's still pretty impressive that Oladipo can have another one of his down games (0-9 fg, 0 points) and yet have a +- rating of +6.

Commentators taking the piss out of the Lakers.

Good thing they're not playing on Christmas Da... oh.

They are stuffed.

I'm deadset filthy

This is sorta where I had misgivings about the Tyson Chandler deal. Age, health & Aldridge connotations aside, they invested a high pick and a lot of development time into Alex Len - he needs to learn on the job, and the Suns need to find out what they have and haven't got.

Plenty of young assets and future picks in the bank to swing a deal for an All-Star-ish level talent should one become available, and they'll always be a solid destination market for second tier free agent talent. But outside of high scoring guards, the team identity seems a little nebulous.

Certainly don't blame them for taking their time with Kieff, as they'd only have received lowball offers, but the writing is on the wall there.

Lou will -47. Third worst performance in nba history for plus minus

Either the Lakers deliberately set out to tank the season, or Mitch Kupchak's time is up - that signing made no sense in any way, shape or form.

His all-round game has developed well, and he's cut down the turnovers... but he really needs to shoot the ball less.

Merry Christmas to you all brothers.

Think twice before touching a relative's head tomorrow

Against a team lining up the 4 and 5 spots with Papanikolou and Faried, Hornacek started Len and gave him 9 minutes (0 points 0 fga) and brought Chandler off the bench for just 10 minutes (1 point 0-1 fga).
Meanwhile Ronnie Price and PJ Tucker accrue 57 minutes combined off the bench, I know that Hornacek likes his guards to run the show but he needs to be smarter and adapt to each game.
If there is one thing the Suns roster is it is dynamic and flexible, but it seems if Bledsoe or Knight aren't putting the team on whoevers back is hot they really struggle to compete.

Tom Thibadeau where art thou'?

Phoenix somehow lose to us on night two of a b2b, in Phoenix, no Gallinari, Chandler, Nurkic, Mudiay, Nelson, Lauvergne... and we lost to the Lakers and Pels previous two games. Wow.

The last three years have been horrid as a suns fan. I just wish we would blow it up and start again

3 years ago was great, last two have been tough to swallow mate.

No cohesion. Only blokes busting a gut consistently are Tucker and Price

great to see atlanta get back to some of last years form winning the last 5 and moving into the 2 seed, hopefully we can keep this form up.
Also would I be biased if I said bazemore is a major candidate for mip, massive improvement between last season and this season particularly in shooting.
All we need is for tim hardaway's corpse to be found and we will be back...

Thought I'd try something new here - a brief recap of the day. Feedback/suggestions welcome.

* Frank the Tank scored a career high today against the team who offered six picks to Charlotte to move up and draft bypass him.

* JJ Barea destroyed the Nets with 32 & 11 assists. I'm not making this up.

* Garrett Temple has scored 20+ in three straight games, after failing to reach that mark even once in his first 250 games.

* For the stretch four/spacing true believers: Orlando is 11-4 since inserting Channing Frye into the starting line-up.

* Since making disastrous starts, the Kings (1-7) and Pels (1-11) have gone 11-10 & 8-8 respectively. If there's a year to start slow in the West, this is it.

* Jahlil Okafor got stuffed six times today. On the other side of the coin, Giannis hit his first eleven shots in the same game.

* Michael Carter-Williams has actually had a really solid couple of weeks - not making this up either.

* Randy Foye destroyed the Suns today - perhaps December 24 should be christened Dawn of the Scrubs?

* Kieff missed six of his eight shots in the same game, but did manage to hit his coach with a towel. Jazzy Jeff gave him a toweling in return.

* Spanning the second and third quarters, the Thunder went on a 36-2 run against the Lakers today. Randle didn't play, but Byron may blame him anyway.

You forgot the massive poster that Jahlil got put on, Son of Skeletor ;)

And I really hope MCW keeps up his good form, he cops a lot of flak but I think he can get there once the guys around him become elite.

Tbh I just left it out because it was already posted by your good self. Ditto re. Lou Williams' -47 horror show, as stewie was on the ball with that one.

As for Carter-Williams, one thing that's noticeable is that his three-point attempts have dried right up in Milwaukee, which doesn't always help a player's efficiency but in his case it does. If he could figure out a way to get the assist/turnover ratio looking healthier he'll probably shut a lot of people up.

Incidentally Kidd seems to be against three point shooting in general, or at least where his young 'uns are concerned - they just never shoot them.
