CULTURAL issues have underpinned Gold Coast's struggles for years and led to the shedding of talented but controversial players Harley Bennell and Charlie Dixon in October.

But speaking to the club's website, coach Rodney Eade said the playing group had begun to "drive" training and behavioural standards at the club – critical to success in any sport.

How about the Gold Coast's "cultural issues" led to Dixon "shedding" the Suns! But then we wouldn't want to let the truth get in the way of a good story, would we?

One of the Headlines in today's Sunday Mail reads

Levi wants to be leader in Saints' resurrection

The first paragraph then reads "CARLTON forward Levi Casboult is relishing the opportunity to become the Blues' key target inside-50."

When did Carlton become The Saints?

Haha some highschool kid must be filling in for holidays

Just wondering. Are the idiots on 5AA back from holidays today too?

When writing about Colquhoun's win in the time trial, Richard Earle refers to him as "last year's midfield revelation". Seriously do these dipshits even watch our games?

He probably mixed him up with Sam Gray, they do have the same first name afterall!

I guess if he starts kicking goals next year, he'll be far more likely to finish his career at St Kilda rather than Carlton.

Other than lining for the bottom of a bird cage, I see no use for the local paper: especially in view of the fact that I don't own a bird.

Ahhh the Newspaper. Its demographic is now limited to the elderly and Bird owning, Fish and Chip shop running Pirates hat makers.

People still read newspapers?
I still read newspapers online but then I read many news sources.

Sometimes I learn interesting facts from newspapers, such as from Richard Earle in today's Sunday Mail that Don "Mr Perfect" Pyke is a blood relative of Albert Einstein. o_O
