Not sure if its been posted but...
I read on thesportsbible that this move was close to not happening due to Marko being extremely claustrophobic. When told he had to lay in an MRI scanner for an hour, he was close to pulling the pin!

‘When I heard that the MRI scan was compulsory, I was very close to saying that I didn’t want to do it! I was really afraid. I couldn’t stay inside it for one minute!’

‘I called the doctor and raised a bit of panic so they were persuading me for around 20 minutes before I finally accepted to go inside it again. Finally, I bit the bullet and I got on with it. They made some special conditions for me.’

‘After that, I went to Melwood, signed the deals and they took photos of me.’

Nothing against you or anything, but that would probably be one of the worst sides Liverpool have ever put out in a competitive match.

I take it you missed the Exeter game.

Haha, actually, I watched it.

I guess I meant a side not involving the deliberate selection of young/fringe players against lower-standard opposition in cup competitions, i.e., the worst Premier League side we have ever picked.

Yeah but he's probably close to the team that will get picked. We dont have a lot of options unfortunately.

Also apparently Klopp wanted Grujic to come in straight away and not be loaned back but Grujic wouldnt budge. He wants to win a league title with his childhood club. He's a Red Star fan and wants to realise a dream. Good on him I say.

Apparently all the players havent been paid in a while, neither have coaches, physios, chefs and other staff because of the dire situation. The 5.1 million they are getting for him is going to be huge for Red Star.

It wasn't intended to be a criticism of anyone in particular (and certainly not the poster, who is probably going to be on the money). Obviously, the injuries mean that we don't have much room to manoeuvre. I just look at that team and, in my lifetime supporting the club, I'd be surprised if we have fielded a worse Premier League XI.

Hodgson's side with Joe Cole Ngog Poulsen Konchesky Jovanovic and Sparta probably takes the cake

Those sides still had Gerrard (before his decline), Meireles, Reina, Torres and Kuyt. It wasn't a great side by any stretch, but it had more top quality than the side posted above, in which Clyne is arguably the only really good player.

The shitness of Poulsen and Konchesky easily outweighed the good of anyone else. To this day I don't know how those two players represented LFC.
